First, everything is going awesome with Nikki. I'm running out of ways to express how much I adore her. From the way she plays ball with herself by swinging her head side to side to throw the ball, then chasing it back down...to the time she woke me up at 4 in the morning with her nose in my crotch and then pounced on my chest...I love her.

Second, again, my brother is an idiot. He finally admitted that Nikki was too big a dog for where he's at. Hurray. I think everything is awesome...and then he says: 'So, yeah, we're getting a Pomeranian.'

wow just read the whole thing and I'm really happy you got nikki, and here's hoping you "won't" have to rescue another dog from that d*ckhead brother of yours again (sorry no offense intended if you still love him cause he is family)

Still it might be nice to have another one to keep nikki company ^_^

Still regardless with what your brother does "you" are a good person and don't let him get to ya if he decides to play some other "game" with you

Oh I love a happy ending :D

Very gald things are going well with Niki 0 does seem your borther might have come to the one scence he seems to posess. Dear Lord, he now wants a Pomerainian! If he could not maintain the coat and fleas on a Husky - that Pom is going to be one miserable little dog. I feel for it already

Darn fleas are a real pain any way. I have been fighting the dang things all fall and can't knock them out. In the past 40 years and up to 40 dogs at one time we never had a noticable flea problem - them I move into a condo with one dog and get slammed! Bummer!

Give Niki a big hug for me - be gentle and safe. If it comes to pass that you wish to share pics with us they will be appreciated

Hug given, and thanks for the well wishes. Now it's time for me to adjust to my new lifestyle. Remember, it was less than a year ago when I first admitted to myself my attraction to animals...less than 6 months since I considered myself a zoo. Now here we are, only a short time later, and I've got a mate and feel perfectly happy...whole even. Considering I have no desire to seek either emotional or physical love elsewhere...I guess that makes me zoo exclusive?

That's a lot to take in in such a short period of time, a lot of life altering changes. When the time comes that I'm more comfortable with myself, because I'm still not quite there yet, I'll make sure to throw up some picture/videos of the fun times Nikki and I share.

Now, it's time for bed. Nikki's tired, she just sighed and gave me 'the look' :P

So glad to hear your so happy together Octavian.

And udpets if you've got flea problems then go for Frontline Spot on. I've never heard anything except completely glowing recommendations for it. And they include from vets and owners.

You need to tell your brother to go out and invest in a Monkey. That way it will fit right in with the both of them. He doesn't need any dog, maybe a cat, but a Monkey would be better.

Yea, a monkey even has fingers! - it might be able to call 911 for help (ok it's a streach) but Benji is the only dog I have ever seen dial a phone with a pencil

Comfortis worked absolute wonders with Nikki. They gave her the pill in the vet's office and when I took her home (well...the place that shall not be named) she was standing on a white tile floor and you could literally see the fleas falling off her. Somehow a pill was working only an hour after it was taken...supposed to kill all fleas within 4 hours. Not a single flea since, Nikki is no longer itching, and her fur grew back so...glowing recommendation here!

On a different note, I'm not really sure what to do with this thread. It's sort of 'over' isn't it? I'm thinking of starting a blog type thing or something, to keep anyone interested up to date with Nikki and I. Or not, I don't know. But I'll just throw a few updates in here for now. :P

I've worked every day since last Monday, 8-12 hours a day, and my next day off is Wednesday. 8 days straight of 8-12 hour days...awesome. My feet are killing me, I'm getting shin splints from STANDING! WTF!? But there is always a bright side.

I was just about finished getting ready for work today, praying to god the power at the store would go out and we would be forced to close...or I'd be called out for some reason. Generally hating life at the moment. I'm sitting on the couch putting my shoes on and out of nowhere I get body slammed by Nikki. Immediately after she smacks into me she jumps off the couch and pounces straight up and down, about 3 feet into the air, landing in her play stance: laying down with her ass in the air (bowing basically).

I get up to say goodbye and she spins around and runs down the hall and pounces and bows again. Bewildered, I followed her down the hall. As soon as I get near, she charges into our room and jumps on our bed and does it again. Pounce, and bow. As soon as I get to the edge of the bed, she rolls onto her back and stares at me with a look that was unmistakable. I knew what she wanted, she knew what I needed.

I had 15 minutes to be at work, I'd just gotten dressed, but I didn't care. I undressed, and we made love right then and there. We took our time, enjoying everyone second of it, and when we were done and she finished her happy dance we just layed there a while. Somehow, all my frustrations seemed to have vanished, and I set off to work in good spirits after redressing. I was over an hour late...but good spirited none the less. ^_^

Wonderful story, Octavian! Who could possibly say no to that? Even though you were over an hour late, I'm sure you were a lot more productive while at work thanks to a little "afternoon delight" ;)

Woulda been a crime to leave her unsatisfied! Well done, sir.
