THE DIRTY DOZEN
ok folks - it took some doing but we finally have the contest results for you - BUT before we do that we have three announcements to make: #1. OUR COMPETITIONS SECTION IS NOW IN FULL BLOOM - WE DONT WANT TO HAVE TO SPAM UP EVERY SECTION WITH ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR EVERY CONTEST - SO PLEASE CHECK IT OFTEN FOR NEW AND EXCITING ENTRIES - CURRENTLY OUR HALLOWEEN CONTESTS ARE NOW IN PROGRESS - WE HAVE TWO DIFFERENT COMPETITIONS RUNNING: http://www.beastforum.com/showtopic-149658.html http://www.beastforum.com/showtopic-149657.html :pirate: :police: :elvis: :shaun: :fool: :cat: :sorcerer: :diablo: #2. WE WANT TO EXTEND OUR SINCERE THANX TO ALL WHO PARTICPATED IN THE DIRTY DOZEN COMPETITIONS - WE FEEL IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS :beer: #3. WE CHANGED THE RULES :huh: :o in many cases it almost became impossible to narrow the field to just two winners per contest - we feel we have been VERY VERY gracious in awarding winners - the initial rules called for a total of 24 winners - we are naming 69 winners to 47 different members! HOWEVER with that said we have also made a decision to limit winners to a single banner - in most cases members who are multiple winners of contest would not have been multiple winners if we had limited each contest to the original rules of just two winners per contest - in the original rules we made allowances that multiple winners would have an additional banner for reserve to use in the future or gift to another member - but under these circumstances some winners would have 3 or 4 or even 5 because we allowed so many exceptions - so only one banner will be awarded to each member that is a winner - thanX for your understanding - again we feel as though we have been more than gracious in awarding prizes.... we also think there will be quite a few surprises :w00t: so grab your essentials and get comfy.... ....AND NOW FOR THE WINNERS :w00t: :beer: :rock: |

CONTEST #1 ANIMAL PHOTO CONTEST :puppykiss: as expected this was indeed the most popular/active contest - at first glance looking at all the entries we thought it was going to be a nightmare- but things seem to fall into place quite nicely... we are naming ten different entries winners by 6 different members - and will count down to what we believe is the overall winner... CONTEST #6 BF THEME SONG CONTEST :rock: this became much harder than we had imagined - there was a LOT of participation - and a lot of really nifty entries in the contest - nearly all of the entries really hit the nail on the head concerning the outline of the competition - so just how were we to judge? we took the high road - again there were a LOT of entries that were really spot on concerning the contest - but we felt were a little over the top to be representative of the entire forum and representative of the membership - but also when have we ever taken the high road :huh: :lol: :lol: :pinch: so here is what we are going to do: first off we are naming ALL ENTRIES WINNERS :w00t: secondly we are going to run down a few specific examples and declare an official BEASTFORUM THEME SONG :rock: HOWEVER - it may only be short lived :huh: we will run this contest again SOON - for a longer period - and then we are going to open up a poll and let the entire membership deciede :beer: so in the mean time here is the run down: more than honorable mentions goes to the following: mELANDRA Mister_Z Faunak8 76couple77 black_lab8 arasl str8jkt Lancer8 temporary runner up will be: Daddyslilbabygirl Def Leppard - Animal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9R2GLQDLFtM and probably no surprise here - but our temporary winner - which we felt was on topic but not so over the top that it better represented a majority of the membership: TwoDanes20 Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSL4G50Xh0M |
