well I've given up tryin missionary with my rottie lol. i've tried 3 times but he doesn't seem interested and kinda looks confused as to what to do. it's not big deal since i prefer doggie style.

How did people here perform missionary? did you have to do additional training or coaxing in order for him to fuk missionary?

HAHA im completely opposite i do missionary with my dog and i cant get him to learn doggy. Ok so you do your dog doggy style, what i can suggest is to lay at an edge of a bed or a couch and lower yourself where you can get to him play with him and get him goin and maybe he will jump missionary.

When i was working with my boy i found missionary to be easier for me because hes a big dog and i couldnt bring myself high to him. to i would put him on me and with the other hand stimulate him and get him going and thats how we do things. i hope it helps

I think your giving up to quick too. I really enjoy doing missionary with my dog Buddy. It took alittle more to help him with it at first too, but laying on the edge of the bed, spreading my legs enough to let him inbetween helped. It is easier to help guide him in this way, the one thing I found so far is it's harder for him to get the knot in me this way, but its still very enjoyable and I can hug him more as he's going at me :)

It definitely might take more than just three attempts.

I used the same method as was already described, to invite him up and start rubbing them behind the knot while they're in the position to give them the idea.

A lot of dogs don't even get doggystyle after three attempts! :P So don't get discouraged too fast.

I also find it harder to tie in this position but ti's still pretty nice to do. Good luck!

Yeah, i agree with the others, giving it some more attempts might prove successful, you just have to get him used to something like that, doggystyle is natural, thats why they call it that ;) , missionary is something most dogs need to learn, don't give up, while i think doggystyle is more...primal(hot), if you love your dog, missionary is a great way for you to be intimate.

Don't give up! He hasn't gotten the idea (in his mind) that missionary is possible. Keep trying! He might get the idea yet!

It must always seem strange to a dog to be looking face to face with a mate, that's why he is reluctant to mount this way, but with the right sort of encouragement he will take that step, and realise it still feels good.

just give him plenty of encouragement and praises,

start by cuddling him whilst he his laying on your tummy, make a fuss of him, then reach down to his sheith and guide him near to your pussy opening.
