Rehn smiled wide, dropping low into a fighting stance as the ninja closed in. His armor crackled to life as he laughed softly. He shouted out a drow word and his body exploded in bone spikes. He impaled one in the shoulder and two in the legs, starting a spining motion to ward of the rest. The wounded ones were tossed aside and most of the bone spikes retreated back into his body. Taking the moment that the ninja warriors used to asses this new info, he fire his finger bones directly into the gut of one warrior.

The Drow quickly created a bone sword and spiked gauntlet as two swords slashed at him. He twirled about, effortlessly catching one sword and ramming it into the hip of the first attacker while pinning the other to the ground with his sword, knocking him out with a swift kick. One ninja tried an aerial attack and Rehn let him get close before jumping slightly and spinning rapidly, bone spikes appearing again to rip and tear at the unsuspecting victim. He felt a buzz at his back and grinned, knowing the armor managed to halt the attack and he kicked back, stabbing the fighter in the crotch with a surpise spike.

"Two more. What will you do know?" Regrowing another sword, the drow started parrying with the two attackers, dodging shuriken and a black egg. He kept on the defenciv until he saw his chance and jumped forward, ramming his armed shoulders and wings into the two and taking them down to the ground. He pinned them down by spikes in the arms and legs then stood up surveying the damage.

"Well, that felt..... good. I haven't had that kind of workout in a great while." He was breathing a little hard as he looked to Master Po for his rating.

*Master Po Looked at Rehn and turned to walk toward the Temple.*

“Walk with me Rehn.”

*More then a Dozen Aes Sedai came running out of the Temple to tend to their Warders.*

*When Rehn cought up yo Master Po, he spoke*

“There are Three Rules within the Warder Code of Combat.”

““First, When in Combat, use your Skills for defense only.”

“Second, You should never Escalate a Confrontation. Meet your opponents Attacks with equal but opposite Actions. You must let them be the one to Escalate a Confrontation.”

“Third, You should always try to avoid a Confrontation, but if combat can not be avoided, Defend rather then Wound, Wound rather then Cripple, Cripple rather then Kill.”

“The Only time that you can Kill without Provocation is when Ones that you face are Shadowspawn.”

“I am sure that you noticed that Those Warder were unarmed. Drawing First blood is one thing. There are a few that would be gone now if not for the Aes Sedai here.”

“Being a Warder is more then Knowing how to Kill, It is just important to know who not to kill. There is a Rage within you. It will surely kill you faster then any Enemy that you may face.”

The drow cracked the joints in his neck and followed the teacher along his walk. He listened to the rules, frowning lightly at what Po said about his anger issues. "I may be full of anger, but much stems from the past. Anger was bred into me, since I was created, molded, and sharpened much like a sword. But I was cast aside easily, even as I was coming into my own. My anger is directed at many creatures who do not realize their fortune in their life and purpose, since frequently, I had none."

He sighed and put his hands behind his head. "Anyway, what are Shadowspawn? I don't think I've killed those creatures yet. I've killed Demons, but Shadowspawn?"

*Master Po Talked as he continued walking into the Temple.*

“Fear leads to Anger, Anger leads to Hatred, Hatred leads to death, Death leads to the Darkside. You need to Control Your feelings, and not let them control you. I will need to instruct you in the Ways of Meditation.”

“As far as Shadowspawn? They include, but not limited to Trollocs and Myrddraal.”

“Trollocs are Creatures of the Dark One, created during the War of the Shadow. Huge in stature, they are a twisted blend of animal and human stock. Vicious by nature, they kill for the pure pleasure of killing. Deceitful in the extreme, they cannot be trusted unless coerced by fear. They will eat anything - or anyone. Largely of human origin, they are able to interbreed with humankind, but the offspring are usually stillborn, and those which are not often fail to survive. They are divided into tribe like bands, among them the Ahf'frait, Al'ghol, Bhan'sheen, Dha'vol, Dhai'mon, Dhjin'nen, Ghar'ghael, Ghob'hlin, Gho'hlem, Ghraem'lan, Ko'bal, and the Kno'mon.”

“Then there are the Myrddraal. Myrddraal are Creatures of the Dark One, commanders of the Trollocs. Twisted offspring of Trollocs in which the human stock used to create the Trollocs has resurfaced, but tainted by the evil that made the Trollocs. Physically they are like men except that they have no eyes, but can see like eagles in light or dark. They have certain powers stemming from the Dark One, including the ability to cause paralyzing fear with a look and the ability to vanish wherever there are shadows. One of their few known weaknesses is that they are reluctant to cross running water. Mirrors reflect them only mistily. In different lands they are known by many names, among them Halfmen, the Eyeless, Shadowmen, Lurk, Fetch, and Fade.”

Rehn nodded lightly. He hated when someone prodded him on what he should feel, but he had taken his first steps into this new life, so he might as well change a little more. And the only time he had meditated was when Red healed him.

He made mental notes on the shadowspawn that Po gave him. It seemed like in a drow's viewpoint, the Trolloc was like the Quaggoth, Minotaur, or even a Hook Horror, while the Myrddraal would be like dealing with a drow priestess that had cloaking abilities. "I see. I don't think I need to worry about those grunts, but no doubt this Dark One could throw much worse at me or anyone else. I wouldn't want Lolth to join forces with it."

*Master Po Stopped and turned, facing Rehn.*

“I think I know a way that you could burn off some steam. There is a City, Back in the real world. On the Edge of the Great Blight. Its called Shadar Logoth, In the Old Tongue, "the Place Where the Shadow Waits." A city abandoned and shunned since the Trolloc Wars. Also called "Shadow's Waiting." It is tainted ground, and not a pebble of it is safe. I could send you there. To spend a night. Sure as the Sun will go down, the Dark One will send his Army for you.”

*Turns and conrinues walking deeper into the Temple.*

“Uselly this task is not giving to a Warder in his First Year. But I think it may do you some good. I will send an Aes Sedai with you. She will wait beyond the Limits of the City. She will seek you out come first Light. Do hide any wounds that you may get. The slightest Scratch can Poison Your Blood”

“Your Objective, Kill as many of the Shadowspawn as you care to, then return to continue your Training.”

Rehn couldn't help a grin spread across his lips at the thought of scouting out the enemy firsthand. "I thank you for this chance to prove myself, even in the dark where my kind florish. I hope my attitude is not a problem to your teachings and that I return wiser and better suited for your teachings. I will be back, though...... how do I get back to the real world? I do like this place, it's very remote and quiet, but I'd rather not risk magic that I haven't used in decades returning to the Acadamy."

*Master Po Nods.*

“The Aes Sedai I send with you will take you there and bring you Back. She will not go into Shadar Logoth. Four Warders will go with you. They are there for her Protection. Only you will enter the City. You are not to use Magic. Magic will only bring down the Dark One full attention down onto you. Try to Use the Fighting skills that you used here.”

*Looks toward Him.*

“Are you ready?”

He reached into a pocket and popped a small black pill in his mouth. He nodded as he chewed on the small thing, feeling his energy renewed slowly. "As much as I'll ever be, Master. Though does it really matter if I'm ready or not?"

*Master Po Shakes his head.*

“Like everything in Life, Death does not often comes at a Time of our Choosing. We all must be ready for everything, and anything, at anytime.”

*Four Warders walked up to Master Po. Between them was an Aes Sedai. The Aes Sedai Stepped forward and bowed her head.*

“We are Ready Master.”

*Master Po Nodded and with a wave of his hand, an Archway opened.*

*Two of the Warders were the first to enter. Followed by the Aes Sedai. Then the other two Warders each took a look at Rehn.*

“Follow us”

*Then the two followed the Aes Sedai Though.*

*Master Po Looked at Rehn.*

“Remember, The presents of any Soul within the Walls of this damned City will bring the Army of the Dark One down upon you. The greater your Soul, The bigger the Army. There is a Chance, Slight, but a Chance never the less. Your presents in the City could attract the Attention of the Forsaken upon you.”

“The Forsaken is the Name given to the thirteen of the most powerful Aes Sedai and Asha'men of the Age of Legends, thus among the most powerful ever known. They went over to the Dark One during the War of the Shadow in return for the promise of immortality. Their own name for themselves was "the Chosen." According to both legend and fragmentary records, they were imprisoned along with the Dark One when his prison was resealed. Their names are still used to frighten children. They Are: Aginor, Asmodean, Balthamel, Be'lal, Demandred, Graendal, Ishamael, Lanfear, Mesaana, Moghedien, Rahvin, Sammael, and Semirhage.”

“To Attract the attention of One is no small feat. Two or three, You are someone to be feared by the Dark One. The more you attract, the greater the Threat that you Pose. No One Other then RedWolf has Attracted more then Five. RedWolf Attracted All Thirteen Over a Five day Stay within the City.”

*Looks straight at Rehn.*

“Remember, No Magic. Attracting the Dark One is something that you do not want to do. Don’t use any Powers in any form. All the Dark One needs to enter this World is a Soul that is open to his influence. And the use of Magic is the only Key that he needs. As powerful as RedWolf is, Not even he would call the Dark One down upon himself. To do so, is Suicide.”

“One more thing. Take nothing from the City. Not even a Stone. There is Nothing within that city which is not Tainted. Now go, and May the Light Follow you.”

*Master Po turned and walked into the Temple.*

*On the other side of the Archway, The Aes Sedai and the Four Warders waited. They stood in a cleaning. On a Ridge. A ridge that overlooked a Valley. On the other side of the Valley was a Mountain. On the Mountain was a City. A Ruined City. It was Midday. The walk to the City would take a half days walk. If Started now, Rehn would arrive just before Nightfall.*

"I've had enough of dark magic.....so I would know when something will try to creep in on me. I appreciate the advice, Master Po, and hopefully I will return to be trained into a Warder. Farewell for now." He bowed to his teacher then turned and let his wings free from his clothes. he shook his hair free of his face then growled, moving through the Archway.

He appeared at the other side and he smiled at the Aes Sedai. "May I ask your name, miss? I make a point to know who I'm traveling with."

(( Text: Purple: Sister Moiraine. ))

*The Aes Sedai Looked at Rehn.*

“First, I am not a Miss. I am Aes Sedai. You may address me and all my kind as Sister. My Name is Moiraine, I am a Sister of the Blue Ajah. You may call me Sister Moiraine. Keep in mind, I am not here by Choice. Master Po Serves The Amyrlin Seat, and I serve Her. Therefore, If Master Po says that I am needed here, then here is where I will be. We are not friends. Till the day comes that you are called Warder, If that day does come, you are just Little more then a Child.”

“And secondly, We are not Traveling together. My Warders and I will be staying here. If you find that you need Help, My Warders and I will come to assist you. You are going from here, to that City, over there, on that Mountain, If you leave now, You will make it just before sunset.”

“Don’t feel bad if Shadowspawn don’t show up right away. Sometimes has been known to take while.”

Rehn smirked and bowed low in apology, his wings spread out low for more effect. "Why am I not surprised..." He said very quietly to himself, before adjusting his tone and stand back up, his eye looking down from his taller height. "I understand, Sister. My apologies for talking to you in such a disrespectful way. And thank you for taking time from your busy day to come here. Hopefully I will see you in the morning without trouble."

He turned, spread his wings and started running for the ridge. He took a leap and dropped, spreading his wings wide to catch the wind. He felt the strain as he evened out and soared across the valley.

*The Aes Sedai Looked at Rehn before he left.*

“You are new, I am sure that you did not intend to disrespect me. But I have spent most of my young life training to become an Aes Sedai. I earned the Right to be called a Sister of the Aes Sedai.”

“I am sure that you would not call Master Po Just Po. And as far as wasting my Time. To be an Aes Sedai is to Serve. And I am here to serve.”
