Who else here has felt true monogomous love for a k9...or anything else for that matter.

I have known a mare who I consider to be my soul mate and the love of my life. So you can definitely count me in. There have been quite a few mares I have loved in the past but none could even compare to my Jasmine (mare whom I consider to be my soul mate).

That's a hard question. I'm a bit of a misanthrope so I am not sure I know what love, at least in the traditional sense is about. In my own way, as much as I am capable of I suppose, I have loved my animal partners even if we didn't have a sexual relationship. Certainly I have been emotionally closer with animals than humans.

I love my dog and I am in love with him, but I am not monogamous with him. He's not really into sex (yet?) but that certainly doesn't change anything.

and it means
the custom or condition of having only one mate in a relationship, thus forming a couple. The word monogamy comes from the Greek word monos which means one or alone, and the Greek word gamos which means marriage or union.

i love my male dog and currently in a strong relationship with him
and if so happens a person was to enter my life
i hope they would understand and be okay with the fact that im a zoo.
but even then i don't think i could handle being with the human.
it just wouldn't feel right to be with two things you love so much
but one more then the other.

As anybody who knows me would say, I was canine exclusive, well I am, if you don't take into account my relationship with zoosexual before he passed away.
