Hi fellow zoo's, I just got back from seeing the movie Bolt at the theater. So has anyone else seen it? It was really well done in my opinion, and I can't usually say that about movies rated PG ( :P ).

A quick search of the forums didn't find any results for previous topics about this movie, so I thought I'd put one up myself. Anyways, post your likes / dislikes below!

P.S. I'm totally painting a black lightning bolt on my boy when I get one ^_^

I'm not much into the little kids movies but I will probably end up watching it when there is nothing else to rent or on tv. It doesn't look to bad though.

I saw it yesterday and it was ok.. not great. For one, Miley Cyrus really irritates me (especially her voice) and so I had to suffer through that and one of the songs they played of Hannah Montana's...

The hamster was the highlight of the movie, for sure. Bolt was cute, and Mittens was an amusing cat.

Well, I have to say I rather liked the movie. It definitely had it's funny and sad moments. Overall, I think it was well done. And yes, the hamster was hillarious. :P It's definitely a movie I would suggest watching.

Okay I finally saw it yesterday in 3D. I thought it was really good. I was very impressed by how good the 3D actually was. In years past most color 3D was just annoying at best. But they really worked hard to make a good system that worked well. Even the fact that John Travolta was in the movie didn't spoil it for me. My suggestion is go see it. Who knows, watching it might even cure impotence or even more important make your penis bigger.

Now that I've had a chance to think about it some more. James Lipton, the guy from The Actors Studio, was in the film. That being said, does this now mean that James Lipton can still host The Actors Studio? Or will he even have other actors on it anymore? Because now, and given his ego, it wouldn't surprise me if he was the only one on the show in simply interviewed himself ad nauseum; since he now can call himself a serious actor.

Apparently he was in a film called "The Big Break" in 1953. If it took 55 years for a second movie I guess it wasn't.

I intend on seeing it sometime... although it'll likely not be until it comes out on DVD. But it does look like a great movie! Probably, if you ask me, one of the few Disney movies that I may actually see as an adult that's not Pirates of the Caribbean!

However, I do think that John Travolta was an odd choice for Bolt's voice actor... but hey, I could be wrong. From seeing Grease, if nothing else, I can tell that he can have that hopeful, over-confident tone in his voice that seems to have been symbolic his character in Grease, and (from what I learned from the trailers for Bolt) of Bolt.

But, enough speculation from me. I'll put in another post when I've seen it.
