well, my other story is on hold because I've run out of ideas on the brain train, so I decided to go over something I always wanted to do. A Star fox fic. This is something that starts from SF64, then Adventure. I haven't played Assault or Command, so I can't do much there. However, in this version of Star Fox, there is one BIG change. Well, two if you include the Yiff

Which is that Humanity has been found on the Lylat system. A dying race which is thrown even further into chaos when Andross finds their home planet and does a hostile takeover, using almost all the humans left to preform experiments on them before he is captured by the Corneria Army.

One survivor, Jack Star, undergoes genetic manipulation on Corneria, allowing him to gain wings and change his eye color to fit in better with the general populus. At age 18, he has shown to have great aptitude as a pilot and joins the rank of the Mercenary Team Star Fox, whom he is friends with one Falco Lombardi. When Andross threatens the Lylat system, Jack discovers things that were kept from him, which would throw his whole perspective of the Lylat system off kilter.

Preview of the Star Fox Adventures remake: Jack Star, now 26 years old, 8 years after the Star Fox crew, defeated the Star Wolf team and Andross, realizes that the crew is in danger. With peace in the system, there is no need for a mercenary team, and the crew of Star Fox soon find themselves in financial troubles. Tensions run high, and eventually, his best friend Falco Lombardi breaks off from them, saying that he can do better, and the last the crew heard from him, he was doing bounty hunter jobs with his girlfriend Katt.

Just when everything seems bleak: General Pepper contacts them. Apparently, a planet at the edge of the Lylat System, untouched from Andross's war, has sent a distress signal. They are to send ONE pilot to investigate. Desperate, the crew agrees and chose their pilot in the most professional way: by playing Rock-Paper-Siccors!

Jack ends up winning after getting 2 out of 3 wins from Fox McCloud, and goes out to investigate, not knowing that an old foe was watching, waiting for him, and the power he would find.........

Star Fox: Wings of Lylat
Chapter 1: Launch!

Things were relatively quiet in the Lylat system as of late. That is, until a mad genius named Andross came out of an exile and declared war on the whole system! The army of Corneria, considered one of the best in the Lylat System, was soundly beaten in almost all the planets, only holding out on very few. Even then, casualties ran high. The war was tearing a delicate peace apart, and soon, if nothing would be done, then Andross would rule the entire system. This could not happen, not ever.

In desperation, the leader of the Cornerian Army, an anthro bloodhound by the name of General Pepper sent out one of the best teams he had to take down Andross, the Star Fox team. Lead by a Fox by the name of James McCloud, Navigational genius Peppy Hare, and sharpshooter Pigma Dengar, they quickly turned the tide of Andross's troops. However, when they arrived on Andross's home planet of Venom, disaster struck. Pigma got an offer from Andross: A position of high power and a lot of money. In exchange, he had to destroy Star Fox

Being the greedy pig he was, Pigma agreed. Just as team Star Fox launched a final raid, Pigma slowed behind Peppy and James. Then, he unleashed his smart bombs on them, greatly damaging their Arwings. To make matters worse, Andross rose up from below ground. Right in front of Peppy's eyes, he watched James be crushed by Andross and hearing Pigma squeal in laughter about it. With his wings torn off by the bombs and his engine catching on fire, somehow Peppy managed to slip way out of Venom, and back into friendly territory.

After reporting the betrayal and failure to General Pepper, Peppy went to James's house and talked to his son, Fox McCloud. The young fox boy was devestated to learn about his father's demise, but soon a firey determination took place. In front of Peppy, Fox swore to take command of Star Fox someday, and then get revenge on Andross.

It took Fox eight very long and hard years of training in both the Cornerian Army and solo training with Peppy and friends Slippy Toad and Falco Lombardi, but they all got their mercenary licenses, took over the Great Fox, and restarted the Star Fox team, only there was one difference..........

(present day)
The Great Fox, a large battlecruiser with destructive capabilities, is currently hanging around Planet Corneria's atmosphere. They were to be around the planet at all times until General Pepper said otherwise. So until then, the crew was off doing their own thing. Fox was in his room thinking, Peppy was going over the maps of Corneria again, and Slippy was making adjustments to a new and improved version of the Arwing. Currently, they had 5, 1 for each of them and an extra in case of emergencies when one of the original Arwings was out of comission and needed to be replaced fast.

Falco had gone off to the planet's surface earlier, saying that he was meeting up with 'an old wing buddy'. Nobody really bothered to ask, since Falco had a rather shady past. It was when he came back however, that the destiny of the Star Fox crew would change.......

(Noon)
The whole crew hears the sound of an approaching Arwing, signifying Falco's return. Going to the hangar, they watch as he pulls in gently and does a perfect landing. When he opened the hatch, however, the team saw that he was not alone. The person who came out with him, the rest of the crew couldn't really describe him.
Tall, lanky, but with no distinct animal features. He had short blue hair with white streaks and an occasional red tip, golden eyes that seemed to look right into your soul. For clothing he wore a loose black shirt, a dark blue jacket, fingerless gloves, jeans, and combat boots. He also had on some accessories: A skull bracelet wrapped around his arm, a necklace with a cross on it, and goggles which were loosely hanging around his neck. Slippy cried out and jumped back when the 'new person' stretched out a pair of dark blue wings and flew back up to the Arwing, getting out a traveler's bag from it.

"Guys, this is my buddy from the Air Academy, Jack Star. He is only of the only survivors of Andross's human purge. He did genetic enhancement so he could survive the deep space pressure and piloting an Arwing. General Pepper also told me on the way up, that he'll be a crew member for the campaign." Falco explained.

Fox frowned at not being informed beforehand, but it was probably a last minute thing. Stepping forward, he began the introductions. "Well Jack, glad to have another pilot on the Star Fox crew. I'm Fox McCloud, the leader. Peppy Hare, the hare to my right, is our navigation expert. The one that is behind me is Slippy Toad, more mechanic than pilot. You already know Falco, so I'll skip him. R.O.B. is in the main room, flying our ship the Great Fox. Can you tell me what your strength is as a pilot?"

"I'm a sharpshooter, but mostly balanced for any sceneario." Jack said in a room level voice. To the rest, he looked like an anti-social person. Only Falco knew the truth. That he was scared to make friends with them, in case they die or get captured. It happened to his family and it scarred him for life.

"That's good. We can split the teams duties rather effectively then." Fox muttered mostly to himself. As he was thinking about the possibilities, the ships alarm system went off, and the team of 5 ran to the main room, Jack needing some help, where the robot R.O.B. had pulled up a giant moniter, showing the tired face of General Pepper.

"All right, Star Fox crew, I see you have met your newest member." Pepper said in a rather gruff voice. "Andross has begun to make his final push in trying to conquer Corneria's main city. It was invaded about an hour ago, and it's already 50% fallen. You need to help us take it back Fox. You and your crew are our only hope."

The 5 of them saluted the war veteran. "Don't worry sir, you can count on us. Team, get on your Arwings!" Fox ordered. When the screen came off, they ran back into the hangar, where Falco suddenly frowned. "Ah crap. I need to refuel." he told Slippy.

"Don't worry about it, we're just gonna thin the numbers down to manageable. Then the army can pull off it's counterattack and drive out Andross's forces." Fox told them.

With their briefing over with, they each got into an Arwing. Buckling themselves up, they did a quick check up of the main systems before the Great Fox reached Corneria's captial. Then they started up the engines, and the Arwings 'WOOSHED!' out of the Great Fox and over a sea.

"Open your wings." Fox ordered. Everyone agreed and flipped a switch, which caused their wings to pull out towards the side instead of being pulled back.

"Check your G-Diffuser System." was the next command.

"Falco here. I'm fine."

"This is Peppy. All Systems Go."

"Slippy here. I'm OK."

"Jack reporting. Diffuser system working like a charm."

"Mine's alright as well." Fox concluded. Then, up ahead on their moniters, faint shilloutes of the enemy ships could be seen. "All right guys, I can see them up ahead. Let's Rock n' Roll!" he shouted.

"Roger!" The other four shouted. From their star formation, Jack went up, Falco down, Peppy left, Slippy right, and Fox boosted straight forward.

The battle for Lylat had begun.

very nice kenshin :) i was a little disappointed about the other story, as it was also good, but this looks promising. plz continue.

thank you, but it's to my great annoyance that I worked for two hours on this one chapter alone, and yet it looks like something thrown together in only 20 minutes.

dont worry kenshin. it always seems that way. the text on beastforum is just a little smaller then the useal text sizes. i would suggest bringing up whatever text system your using, make it really small, type some words, bring up a topic on beastforum, and then make the text the same size as the text on here. that way you can size it just right for a really long chapter. and i think tis plenty long how it is :) .

Chapter 2: Ascending

It didn't take long for the Star Fox team to find enemy ships. More accurately to say, they saw the Great Fox and came to them. As soon as the team split formation, there were at least 6 enemy ships heading for each individual member. Thankfully for the crew, however, they came in straight lines or in rows, allowing their targeting system to line them up. Each of them pressed a red button above their yoke, and lasers shot straight out of the arwings and through the enemy ships, to which they crashed in a none to golorious explosion.

"Alright guys, we need to shoot down at least 150 of these bogies to turn the tide, along with the enemy CO." Fox told the team over their comm network.

"I've already shot down 7." Jack replied calmly as he lined up three ships side by side. Locking onto the middle one, he held down the laser attack button for a few seconds, and then let go. One big green ray flew out from the nose of the arwing and crashed right into not only the middle ship, but the two next to them as well. They blew up and fell into the sea.

"Make that 10."

"Falco here, I've got 6 bogies down." Falco reported, doing a somersault to avoid being shot at from behind when two enemy ships came from behind and above him.

"Peppy reporting. 5 bogies." The hare said as he did his favorite ariel manuver, the barrel roll.

"Slippy Toad, 3 bogies down, and....GET THIS ONE OFF OF ME!!!" Slippy shouted as he veered left and right across the path of the others as he tried unsucessfully to shake off an enemy ship.

"Alright, this is Fox. 11 bogies down, going for 12. Slippy, on the count of three, get out of the way......3!" Fox shouted, and fired at the enemy ship.

"WOAH!!!" Slippy pushed his arwing down, and then did a sharp pull upwards, avoiding having the enemy ship plow into him as it went down from Fox's shot.

"Alright guys, I can see the city. What are your orders Fox?" Jack said as he pulled a bit ahead of the others.

"Fan out, but keep close enough that we can cover each other in case of ambushes." Fox told them as they entered Corneria city. They knew it as a beauitful technologically enhanced city. Yet in the course of an hour, buildings were destroyed and debris was everywhere. Much to the teams disgust and horror, they could see the red pools of blood everywhere of those who couldn't get out in time or were part of the Cornerian guard.

"This is horrible......." Falco muttered as they passed through the destruction.

"No mercy guys, no........AMBUSH! SPREAD OUT!" Fox shouted as robots about half as big as a skyscraper suddenly jumped out and began to fire at them. The five ships quickly went into a V formation and began to fire rapidly at the enemy land vehicles. It took more than the enemy aircrafts, but within a few hits, they went up in a grand explosion. When the ambush numbers thinned, they got reinforcements, forcing the crew to split up. Fox went straight, Jack went to the far left, Falco was near Fox's left, Slippy was to the far right, and Peppy was near Fox's right.

"Damn it, I hate it when they do this." Jack said as he quickly manuvered inbetween two mountains, and destroyed one of the enemy ships behind him. After that one blew up, he quickly hit the boosters and thrusted the yoke back, making him go in a loop and landing behind the other ship behind him. From there, he made quick work of it with his lasers.

Falco, instead of taking care of his enemies right away, was beginning to encounter a problem. His ship was starting to act weird. He couldn't do any big manuvers, he couldn't boost or slow down. Which meant he was a sitting duck from a behind attack. "Fox, my G-Diffuser system isn't working! The low fuel must've cut it off!" he shouted.

Fox quickly went to his friends aid and charged up his shot as he tried to get a good lock on. Just as Falco passed by in front of him, he let go of the shot, hitting all the ships as they enetered the crosshairs. Falco gave him a thanks and went back to destroying other enemies.

Peppy and Slippy covered each other well, and soon, the team was out of the city, leaving at least 70 destroyed enemies behind them, and another 40 back at sea. As they entered a plains area, they encountered more of the land robots. This time, however, instead of firing at them, they were throwing giant trees at them!

"Do a barrel roll!" Peppy shouted, and the team did just that, either narrowly avoiding the projectiles, or just getting nicked here and there. Jack quickly shot down one of the tree throwing robots, and Fox took down the other.

"Approaching river.....strange, there are stone archways going straight across. This might be hiding something." Jack said as they hit the water again.

"Leave it to me." Fox said as he quickly put his arwing down next to the water. With the help of his boosters and some quick manuvering, he passed under all of the stone archways while the others took care of any enemies in his path. As he passed through the last one, the rest of the team congratulated them.

That is, until Falco saw something off. "Hey.....hey guys, don't keep going straight! Follow me!" he told them as he did a right turn, and went straight into and through a waterfall.

"Falco, where are you going?!" Fox shouted.

"I found the real enemy over here!" Falco replied.

It didn't take long for the rest of them to join their wayward teammate going through the waterfall, and found the path on the other side. It had no greenery save a few trees. A few ships were found here and there, but nothing that didn't get shot down quickly. As they followed the enemy Command Ship, they noticed something was off. The ship was nowhere to be found. That's when it suddenly hit them: They had been set up!

"Ah.....somebody wants to play!" an unknown voice said over their comm links.

"Incoming enemy from the rear! Drop altitude." Peppy ordered.

The Star Fox team quickly moved out of the way as a giant ship emerged from behind them. It was an Attack Carrier, and the voice was from it's pilot. It looked like a misshapened E, with a center, a short right section, but a long left section.

"Come on guys, let's take him down!" Fox shouted. The 5 ships soon opened fire on the AC, which at first did nothing to it's shields.

"Ok guys, I have the enemy analysis. We have to take off those two other parts before the main shield becomes vunerable!" Slippy told everyone.

"Damn you toad! Fire the missles!" The AC pilot shouted. The right side of the Carrier opened up and a barrage of missles flew at the pilots, who flew out of the way and fired as one straight at the pod. They noticed some inner damage was done before it closed.

"Grrr.....Fire the laser cannon!"

This time the left side of the AC opened up, and a bright blue energy gathered around it for a good minute, which the team exposed by firing like crazy at it. However, when the charging stopped, they gave the ship a wide berth as a gaint ray of energy cut right through where they were only seconds ago.

This cycle repeated itself for a good ten minutes, until Falco said, "Guys, we need to finish it up, my fuel is near empty and my weapons system is about to go ka-put."

The AC pilot took this as the entire teams moment of weakness, not the individuals. "FIRE! FIRE EVERYTHING WE'VE GOT!"

The team had to roll and boost like crazy to avoid the onslaught of projectiles that were trying to blow them out of the sky. Whenever they had a small respite, they retaliated fiercely, and finally, the left and right sections of the AC finally came off. "Oh no!" he shouted.

"Oh yes!" Fox said, and the team did a combined charged shot, destroying the main part of the ship.

"Who are you guys?!" The AC pilot shouted as the countdown till the ships destructon started.

"We're Star Fox." Fox replied.

"You......You'll never defeat Andross!!!!" With those final words, the AC blew up in a grand explosion.

With the AC out of comission, the Star Fox team let out a sigh of relief.

"All right team. Mission accomplished. R.O.B. calcuated that we took down 165 enemies, more than enough for Pepper to get the land army back together and push off Andross's cronies." Fox said as they headed back to the Great Fox.

"All ships report condition." Jack told them soon afterwards.

Everyone gave an O.K. sign, and they headed to the atmosphere, where the Great Fox waited for them. Landing inside, the crew sighed as the hangar closed and the pressure got stablizied. Soon, they jumped out of the arwings.

"Well Jack, how was your first mission as a part of Star Fox?" Fox asked.

".......it was......interesting." Jack replied before he walked off to his room. He wanted to take a nap.

The rest of the team went to the main room, where R.O.B. greeted them. "General Pepper sends his thanks, and asks that we go to Sector Y next to start an offensive counterattack. Also, you have a visitor in your room Fox."

The three other pilots looked at him, but Fox was just as confused as they were. So he shrugged and went to his room. When he opened it, he found it was pitch black. He reached around and found a light switch, and turned it on. What he saw both suprised him and turned him on.

On his bed, wearing nothing but a ribbon and a smile, was an anthro poodle with white fur, and a curvy body.

"Hello Fox." she said in a sensual voice.

"F....F....Fa.....Fa.....FAY??!!!" Fox shouted.

End of chapter 2.

Ok, here's a little challenge for you guys. I will accept TWO OC's for this fic. Choose if you want to be a part of Star Fox, or Star Wolf. Choose what you're best at doing in the Arwing or the Great Fox: Sharpshooter, mechanic, or navigation. Give me a well detailed description of your character and one character you want to be with. If I can do it and not have it conflict with the main story, you will get a yiff scene. Happy writings!

wow, very nice chapter kenshin. also, although i would like to, im probley not going to be sending an OC thing. although i would like it, there's only guys on the starwolf team, and everyone's taken on the starfox team lol. hoping to read more soon :)

Well, there are still two single girls left in the Starfox series: Miyu the tomboy Lynx, I believe it was, and then there was Peppy's daughter.

lol i'm not good at the hole OC thing but i would be a sharp shooter with miyu shes hot lol but i dont know if you'd just take this but i suck at that kinda stuff i barely can write stories but i try lol cant wait for the next chapter ^_^ :wub:

Also, if no one claims Miyu through their OC soon, she's gonna go with Jack for a few chapters.

Next chapter ETA is tomorrow. It will be a yiff with Fox and Fay, insight into the mysterious mind of Jack, and a secret look into Krystal and what she will be doing during the SF64 adventure.
