Very good original post and replys. People are far too short minded, naive and quick to judge others. I've never understood why so many people see world so black and white, no middle ground.

I am a new member to the site and I read a few threads, but this is the first one that interested me as a conversation that I wanted to join in. I have provided info on myself on my profile but I want to say here that I came to this site for the same reason as Elwea.
I want to express my thoughts and feelings in a non threatening area to company that will accept me, and not fear and reject because they don't understand.
My desires are not as much romantic as they are sexual, but I do feel companionship to those animals I have sexual encounters with. Im not currently active but soon hope to be.
I would also like to make friends from this site for myself and my fiancee so that we can learn the ropes of this site and relate to others in the community.

I'm sort of the opposite of you, in that i was once confused whether i might love my dogs 'that way' and not only sexually. but i fell in love with a sweety human and now it's purely sexual, but with a little sisterly/motherly love thrown in.

this might have something to do with the fact that the dog i became active around (my parents) was a bit of a jerk >.< i love him but he does all he can to annoy me. i really think had i been around a more intimate dog and less of a 'i want to eat all your panties' one i would be feeling more like you.

but yeah, everyone here seems to respect you and that's great. and when you are in love sex is just a bonus. hope things went well for you! ^_^

I could not be more happier being led to this post by a verry good friend of mine. I have been a member here for quite a few years and have met some absolutely wonderfull people and my fare share of bad ones to. while i will not go into detail, most of these expeariances have led me to understand that there is a nice red line inbetween what we consider life and to be normal and the other side for those that well think differently but still say they are one of us. bottom line is i indeed hold a great deal of love and respect for my dogs and am blessed every day by the company and companionship and love that i recieve from them and i hope, i really do hope that there are more people in this wide world with the same opinions as elwea. great to see

That was a great first post and you obviously care a great deal for your fur friend. As it seems it was your only post a year ago I hope that where ever your are - here reading us or off on some global trek that you are continuing to find your heart. Stay pure, stay beautiful and give your fur kid a hug for me and possibly some day our paths will cross in the right palce, where ever that might be.
