Okay guys, here’s Part Two and my second attempt at writing, sorry about the delay, enjoy!

I pulled up the driveway as the front door opened and Blue bounded up to the car to greet me. “He’s so glad to see you again mate,” Jake yelled out with a beaming smile stretched across his unshaven but otherwise friendly face. “Gidday buddy boy, how’s the big boy then ay,” I muttered under my breath so Jake couldn’t hear the pleasantry, on guard in case Blue stalked my crotch. Jake grab a glass of wine for our guest. I’ll be with you guys shortly.”
“Red, white, beer, what’s your poison mate?” Jake asked. “A white will do thanks,” I blurted out. “We’ve just got a nice batch of Pinot Gris,” he said. I took the glass and gulped the first mouthful without comment or an expression of my appreciation. The air was punctuated with pregnant pauses in what seemed on my part to be stilted responses to frivolous conversation.
