I've read lots of stories here that go into great detail regarding the physical sex, but have you ever actually experienced an emotional bond with the animals you are having sex with during sex? Or is that even possible to accomplish with an animal?

Of course its possible. In fact I always found the sex best when I had a strong emotional bond with the dog I was having sex with.

Don't have an animal to be with yet, but when I do, I would have an emotional bond! I want to show the animal that i love him/her when that happens!

I'm certain that many do have an emotional bond during sex. Although I personally never did.

yup. to me the actual physical mounting is much less erotic than the physical contact/closeness to my dog. the biggest and most powerful sex organ in the body is the brain, after all.

I have a very strong emotional bond with my bitch, be it during sex or otherwise. It's actually this bond that makes the relationship, and not the sex. I could be without the sex - but not without the emotional bond.

Absolutely! I’ve had my dogs for years now, I can’t see life without them, isn’t that an emotional bond. Now would I swim the widest ocean, climb the highest mountain, cross the burning desert, for my dogs, most likely not. I just can’t see trading them in for a pair of Guinea Pigs. A pair of Guinea Pigs just wouldn’t cut it even if I could mate with them.

On many an occasion I would have willing stood at the alter and given my self to my then current partner. Now if that is not bonding with my partner, I could ask "what is."

For me, this has described my feelings for my animals at many times in my life. I would have given my life to have saved my first love, Buck, as he passed away in my arms. Definitely a huge emotional bond for me with all the animals I've loved.

It is certainly possible, though it didn't happen for me.

Don't get me wrong, I did love my grrl, but not in the deep romance-novel way. More in the standard, "she's my pet, she's like family to me" way. I certainly cared for her and wanted to make sure she was enjoying the experience whenever we were together, and we were very much in tune with one another sexually, but the whole soul-bonding thing...no. I'm only capable of making that connection with another human.

I guess that's separates the beastlovers from the t-total zoos.

Skyrune, I wouldn't worry too much about it. After all what you feel IS essentially the same as what your average married couples feel for each other when they make love. I think what he original poster was looking to find out was if there was ANY kind of emotional bond you shared with the animal you make love with. Not that you "fall in love" in some deep emotional unrealistic Harlequin novel kinda way during and as a result of the throes of sex. Which is in reality not what realistically happens between people either. If it did it would be common and people wouldn't need to write idealized fantasies novels about that kind of love and sex.

Which is differentiated from simply liking a particular animal or just liking a particular human lover. As we all know love is not necessary to have sex. And most people who do have sex aren't in deep love. And I think that was the point of the original poster.
