This is something that's been getting to me lately, and I'm not sure what to think yet.

I'm 22 years old, male, and consider myself 'straight'.

Back when I was younger, going through puberty, I did all sorts of exceptionally crazy things in the name of getting off. I think at that age it's normal - you're just exploring, trying to figure out what feels good and what doesnt; and with no access to a sexual partner of any kind you tend to use whatever you can find to reach that orgasm... toys, stuffed animals, etc. Bit embarrassing to mention, but it's true =P

Now... as I went through the years, my tastes changed. I've always liked cats in both sexual and non-sexual ways, and in fact used to 'worship' bast (the egyptian cat goddess) during the time when I was interested in mythology and the like. I've always gotten along with cats very well, they all seem to like me, and I find them exceptionally attractive creatuers.

That's how I originally 'got into' the zoo/furry orientation. At first I just 'happened' by furry/anthro porn while surfing for general porn on the net. Then I started to lean more and more towards the animal side of things, till it eventually got to where I was looking up animal mating videos and trying to find anatomical imagery of animal reproductive parts =P That's how I came by this forum as well, it showed up on a search. I lurked here on and off for several years before creating my account.

Lately though (within the past few years), i seem to be going through phase after phase of likes and dislikes when it comes to sexual preference. I've only been with human women and never had a desire to be with any human males whatsoever, yet when it comes to animals and anthro's/furries, for some reason I get more turned on by the males than the females (though it isnt much more, I like all the furries :wub: )

I dunno what my point here is really... just that I'm confused. I never considered myself homo-sexual, and I still dont... but sometimes I wonder about it. i dont really find humans all that attractive (by this i mean human males) but it's a thought that's creeping into my mind more often than not lately.

I still cant figure out why I like male animals (and furries) more than female animals/furries though... any ideas on why that would be? Perhaps the cock just seems like a more pleasurable thing to 'play' with than a pussy?

it's frustrating to say the least. I will not admit that i'm homo-sexual with regards to humans, but when it comes to animals/furries i seem to be as bi/homo as it gets... worries me sometimes. maybe I still just cant accept the fact that I like that sort of thing?

You're trying to equate your desire for male animals with a desire for male humans. And I think that's where you are having your problem. Terms like homo and bi sexuality really only apply within a species. And being attracted to species not your own sorta places those concepts out of their proper context. As to why you like male animals and furries, I cannot say specifically. To be honest its an extremely common phenomenon for zoophile males to be attracted to both sex or same sex animals, yet be perfectly hetero within the context of their own species. Maybe it has to do in part with a desire to be the animal, we see male animals as being almost hyper-sexual relative to humans, whether its true or not. And sometimes I think its that desire to be the same way to feel what they are feeling that attracts them to us. Hope that helps

Well for me Straight or gay porn never turn me on like they use too, I like furry, and mostly zoo. Maybe it stems from the fact I never did so well with People in real life because I had a disability that severely limited me (Mild/moderate Hearing loss). Horses I guess were like a bunch that I could talk to almost.

To put things simply i think energydog is right. You need to view furs and animals in a different view to people. Who knows what it is, maybe the fur makes them look better, maybe its the thought of them dominating you, or otherwise. Only you know what you do and don't like and liking male furs or animals doesn't necessarily make you gay.

Hey-- I TOTALLY admire my stallion (see avi) , but am totally straight. Have gay friends and relatives--no sweat, but no desire myself. Like stallions, rams, jacks; don't care to do one. Don't sweat it--everybody's different, as long as no one gets hurt, it's all Good....... B)

Well, actually my friends aren't flying pigs, but you get the point...... ;)

I think almost everything has been allready said, I'd just add the fact that in some male animals (think of a swan, an ostrich or a lion), the male is the one who has the looks, (the male ostrich is black and white sharp, the females are grayish, the lush mane of a lion is sexier than the sleek look of a lioness...)

so you might be looking for the beauty of a creature, but then again, that is something only you can answer yourself.

Pretty much it all has been said. I just thought I would give you my own two cents.

Being attracted to male animals doesn't make you gay. I myself am not attracted at all to male humans, but am with some male furries and animals as well as the female counterparts. Like energydog said, you have to look at it by species.

When in doubt, consider yourself bi for the moment. That way when you are completely sure, it won't take you by surprize. There's nothing wrong with being bi at all. Listen to your feelings and you'll know exactly what you are when the time comes.

I feel the same way. I wouldn't refuse to touch or be intimate with a male wolf, dog, or horse. I'm heterosexual when it comes to humans..I refuse to be sexual or intimate with a human male.

It's up to each of us how to live our lives. If you prefer male animals over female, then that's what you like. If you like both sexes when it comes to animals, well, in that case, your options for some intimate fun has doubled.

I'm fine with a male or female dog, wolf, or horse. It just depends on what you're okay with. Unless it's happening, don't let anyone tell you that you have to pick or choose. If it's just male animals you like, build on that to have some very close bonds. This obviously works with humans as well.

Only thing lacking from being sexual with an animal, is that they can't say, in English, how good it feels. :)

I totally agree, I do happen to be bi when it comes to human sexuality, but put a female animal in front of me. I have no interest. I am the Dominant one in terms of human sexuality, but I want to give up that power & ridden hard by a big male dog
