Hi everyone. So I got a new puppy about 2 months ago and so far it's been a pleasure to have a new companion in the house. I was just posting here to :
a) show him off =p he's too cute not to
B) ask for suggestions and tips as to how you've gotten your dogs and such to grow up happy, healthy and spunky

loveable face -- my parents told me that I should get a security system for my room because we've gotten stopped numerous times on our walks and have gotten a ton of comments about his cuteness. they're scared someone will try to steal him. think it's a real concern?

WOW he's adorable... He's going to grow fast and grow strong. Predicting that you are going to enjoy every bit of it.....And oh yes, I'd guard him with my life.

Aw he's a cute little guy. Won't be little for too much longer though :D I'll leave the puppy rearing advice up to the others as I'm a horse person :lol:

he is absolutely beautiful!!!

to answer your two points

a ) he's just fuckin' adorable, please DO show him off frequently!

b ) lots of things. a top-notch diet, including protein for growing puppy bones/muscles. a LOT of obedience training, and a LOT of exposure to everything. get him anywhere and everywhere you can and be sure he's seen everything you can possibly think of (except perhaps mars and the like). if your zoo allows companion animals (most don't, but there are some out there) do take him... it'll be a very funny sight!

i cant stress obedience training enough. huskies are very intelligent dogs and will benefit immensely from the mental and physical challenge of competing in obedience or agility.
