Or, if not designated better, perhaps they could be handled more consistently between how they appear in the "user(s) active in the past 60 minutes" section" and the "Today's Birthdays" section. In the "user(s) active in the past 60 minutes" section, validating members are designated by italics, but in the "Today's Birthdays" section, no such separation exists. Also, banned members are shown with a line drawn through their screen names in the "user(s) active..." section but not in the "Today's Birthdays" section.

It would be useful for some if the same visual clues could be put into the "Today's Birthdays" section.

Also, since each of the screen names is a link, it would be useful if each visited link were to show up as a different color than the remaining unvisited links, in both sections.

These are, in all likelihood, easy enough changes to make, if the will to do so is there.

Some things we just have to accept as they are and make the best of it..

banned members show up in the birthday list as well afaik.

These have just been suggestions; relatively simple changes that would lead to more consistency in presentation between the two listings and a relatively simple one to change the color of visited links for both lists. I don't know whether there's someone at BF who can make these upgrades or whether they would have to be added to some outside contractor's list of adds and changes, but they seem so trivial that they ought to be done, regardless.
