The 'f' word and it's derivative and conjugational forms are censored on this forum, yet there is a banner ad at the top of the page proudly advertising 'HARDCORE FARM FUCKING!' What gives? If censored in one place, it should be censored in all. If allowed in ads, especially one that is one of the first things seen on entry to the forum, it should be allowed in posts to the forum.

Just my humble opinion, and of course I'll abide by whatever decision you make, since it's YOUR forum.

Best Regards,
Skeezix

I think that we will remove the F censoring from the forum as well ... it dates back to the beginning of the forum I think ...

Thanks Beaker & tw1!

P.S.: Beaker, I like your new avatar! I think you could do my mom some real good. Dad had a stroke several years ago, and she ain't got none since, and she's mean as a snake now. A good screwin' would put a smile on her face again. 'Course she's 75, so she ain't got a whole lotta prospects. :ruck: :D :D

I'm glad I checked, I was about to make a new topic. I'm glad that I am not the only one that has an issue with the banner.

I know making a few bucks advertising isn’t a bad thing per say. What I have a problem with is the tackiness of: Hardcore Farm F**king, at the top of the BeastForum pages. I clicked on the banner and not one of the sites treats zooism with the quality that BeastForum has been trying to maintain for years.

Does the banner bother anyone else or is it just me?

I asked earlier-- the sites advertised are by the same org. as BF, so I can kinda see it. Wouldn't mind the wording changed a bit tho...... <_<

If it REALLY bothers you, you can always click "Block Ads" on Safari...........

This really bothered me, so just blocked the ad. Its not the word that gets to me, and its not that I don't like advertising, I understand. Its that I think it is tacky.

Beaker, that's awesome if you are going to remove the censoring. I know I will sometimes put *s in words to censor them myself, but I actually prefer if people say the word. beeps and *s are rather annoying.

either way, you are an awesome moderator.

and thanks to skeezix for bringing up the issue.

Kind of hope it isn't true. Be like finding out that heart disease research if funded by McDonalds. Anti smoking billboards paid for by tobacco companies.

How did you do that missy ?

I'd like to do the same except I can't figure out how. I saw neandernitz mentioned using Safari to do it but not sure what that is, and after recent PC melt down like yourself I gather, I'm being very careful what I download from the net right now.

safari is another type of browser, like firefox or internet explorer.

if ur using IE u should go to the tool bar where it says file edit and so on.then go to tools and look for internet options, after that im not 100% sure on what to do there i usually dont bother with ads anymore. but i think those options should be in "contents"
i hope that helps c1l
:)

if that doesn't work just follow what the geeks say. "if it sound too good to be true i probably is."
