I've lurked on BeastForum for quite some time now. I rarely post for a couple reasons:

1- Fear of my love for animals being exposed,
2- Lack of anything I feel worthy of contribution.

You see, I no longer own a pet, my dog Hunter died of kidney failure a couple years ago. He was neutered so we didn't enjoy a lot of fun, but he loved to lick, and I loved to be licked. He was truly my best friend and I miss him so much... I know I'll never find another dog like him. Anyway, that's as far as my experience with animals goes. Therefore, I have no videos or pictures to contribute to the forums.

On the other hand, there's my fear of being exposed. I just recently stop attending a church I've gone to for the past 8 years or so. Now, let me make myself clear, this wasn't one of the typical churches you hear about on TV all the time, these were GOOD people whose belief in God urged them to treat all people with love and respect - regardless of what they'd consider to be sinful nature.

...but I still found that religion, while it's not exactly closed minded - more so it has strict guidelines you're required to follow - just made me unhappy. I didn't feel free.

Then there's society, in general. I'm an average guy. I'm good looking, in shape, I'm very normal and respectful (not a creep, in other words)... but society wants so much more from you. Society wants you to be uber-attractive with perfect teeth and hair that stands up without and product in it, society wants men to have chisseled chests and abs with 9 inch cocks and musical/atheltic talent up the wazoo. Society expects men to be excellent performers in bed - even if they've never had sex before.

That's a lot of pressure. For a guy like me who once viewed sex as something he wanted to wait until marriage for (therefore discarding every opportunity I had in high school to do it - and consequently being trapped in virginity), I skipped the time when I was supposed to learn about sex so that by the time I did get married/went to college, I'd have enough experience for sex to be a mutually casual experience had simply for the fun of it.

I'm a virgin. Never had sex with a woman. For a good looking young man to be a virgin this day and age is enough to have him tied to the stake and burned. There MUST be something wrong with me, right?

I don't think so. I think it's the pressure of society that has gotten to me. I feel so sexually insecure (despite the fact that I am at the very least average on all fronts and have nothing tangible to be ashamed or embarassed about) because of the standards I'm expected to live up to.

Then I come to beastforum and I find hordes of people who are completely open minded and understanding. I'm not judged, here. I can make a post like this and I'm sure people will respond with kind words and encouragment.

General society views people who make love to animals as perverts, sickos, people with severe mental problems or insatiable lust. I find it incredibly ironic that general society is calling Beast Forum the messed up ones, when general society is extremely closed minded and uncomprimising.

If Beast Forum were a state... I'd move there in an instant. I'd leave my life behind and start anew, in a place where I'm not judged or treated poorly because of my differences. It's so funny that when a group of people such as those found on Beast Forum have achieved the dreams of people like Martain Luther King Jr., the dream of people from all walks coming together and caring for each other unconditionally... we're outcast from the rest of society - even made illegal.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here for being who you are. I truly wish I was in a living arrangement where I could interact with people like you regularly and experience my love for animals without the fear of being sent to prison.

In relation to rarely making posts ...... let me say this.

Your love for animals is already exposed by you being here. This is the place where you don't have to be afraid to be yourself. After all you're in a like minded community and there is wonderful advice / support/ friendship to be had here.

With the nothing to contribute ...... you're wrong ..... *smiles softly*. There are many ways to contribute and uploading videos and pics is only one of them. I've not uploaded anything ...... like you I have nothing to upload in that no pics exist of my previous experiences ...... and my dog at 11 months old is too young to be trained. So I contribute in other ways ...... offer some common sense where I can .... have a laugh and a giggle in the General Forum ...... say thanks when I read a story I enjoy etc, etc..... all these things are contributions and equally valid in their own way.

Like any community we're not perfect ....... but you will find friendship, understanding and acceptance here once you participate.

Societal presure I understand ..... try being a 39 year old single woman in holy Catholic Ireland ...... :lol: ...... you must be lesbian ...... or have some serious personality defect ...... ^_^

I could go on but I'm sure you get my overall point ...... this is the place where you can relax, escape all those pressures and find acceptance.

Hey...you aren't alone...you and I just made similar posts. This is a messed up world and it's crazy to think that we're supposed to be the messed up ones. Some things in life just don't make sense...but honestly...you have to live with yourself and if you feel just fine with who/what you are when you come home each day...then that's great for you. Screw mainstream society, it is just the way "they" want you to be. Be proud of who you are.

Yes, this world is messed up and most people have screwed up, backwards values. We all can't be that perfect person. And if you look around at all the people around you most do not have that perfect body you speak of. Most people are just average looking.

There is nothing wrong with still being a virgin. That just means you haven't found that special someone and don't want to settle for just anything. Keep waiting, you'll find someone. :) Its okay that you didn't do anything sexual in high school. It's probably better that way, actually. When you find someone who cares, your lack of experience will not matter.

There is nothing wrong with having a love for animals. Don't be afraid to post here. As curious1 said, you've exposed your love of animals by being a member of this forum. That's a start! We are like-minded people who understand how you feel. Stay around and post! You are in good company here!

That was by far -the- most touching post that i've read in a long time. I share your sentiment. If there was a country we all could live in, I would ditch everything in a heartbeat and move there just to be free.

Hi, i don't really know what to say to that but i wanted to post some reply.

Whilst you can't replace your life around you with BF, its a good place to sit back at the end of a long day. You shouldn't feel pressured, or expected to live up to societies views, when it comes down to it, they don't mean a lot, just your own views. Also, ill probably get shot down for this but anyway, I think you will find people in your everyday life who you can talk to about it, obviously it would take some risks, but if you really want something most of the time you have to work for it. If that doesn't work out though you've always got the people here at BF to talk to.

Just remember on society 98% of it is bluff, the rest is exaggeration, lies and the ever intangible "status".

On the religious stuff, Religions as a whole were made by good minded people from their time and age, and set the things they thought were valuable on their teachings, therefore they state things that were expected from people on that time (and if we look at the survival level of those communities we will see they couldn't do much at all!), and the things they understood and believed back then.

Risking to sound too much like "El Che Guevara" I can tell that most of the social pressure you feel comes the guys that sell you trash you don't need on the "your pecker is way too small/last too little, and women don't appreciate it!, impress her then with your brand new (place a product here)!" line, making people feel insecure, and then buy, just in case. And the other side, which is somewhat not so blunt but very much more persistent is the scheme "go to college, get a job, get married, have children and put them on the same grinder" stuff, meaning if you don't, there must be something wrong with you, and if you don't adjust to society (a nice way to say MY) standards you are not trustworthy to have around. On that you can't do much more than go schizophrenic and crank a laugh at the rat race you aren't running.

Just look around you, your friends (both male and female) don't look like actors, probably when they have intimacy they don't perform like porn actors, none of us drives a sports car for the daily stuff, and you can count the people who has as much money as uncle scrooge with a couple fingers, the fact that Angelina Jolie looks like that, Debi Diamond screws like that is because they specialize on that, making the necessary sacrifices on other aspects of their life (or why do you think porn actors are bound to die early, and regular actors have turbulent lives?).

in other words, if you decide to be virgin until marriage, live in chastity or screw all that, is your choice, and you will have some advantages and some losses then like showing your commitment to a relation and love by letting your partner be your first and only love, a woman might feel attracted to a virgin because she could mold him to her tastes or something else, if you decide to live in chastity, you might find physical energy to do something else (Tesla is said died virgin, and he invented the alternating current that powers our world), or if you decide to screw all that, you have the chance to learn from sex, but then you'll put yourself at risk of STDs and out of the market for more conservative relations.

As for the first reason - just follow the advice in the pinned section about keeping yourself safe and you shouldn't have any problems.
