P.P.S. Unfortunately, I must confess to a certain amount of specieism---- Let's SO not do the Charles Heston, Roddy McDowell, Planet of the Apes thing.
We all know that ended badly......... :pinch: |

well, sex with animals seemed to be quite popular among greek and roman civilizations, I'm sure it was existent long before then as well. As an example... ancient egypt. Cats were worshipped as gods in egypt, originally because they took care of snakes and rats inside egyptian cities - which could cause diseases and plagues if left unchecked. Cats came to be considered guardians and protectors, and eventually were linked to the afterlife. There were three goddesses related to the cat, all of which were depicted as a human with feline features (catgirls, woot :P ) -Sehkmet was the goddess of the northern egyptian cities and towns, and was depicted as a 'war goddess' with a human body and the head of a lioness. She was a feirce protector of the people. -Bastet was the southern goddess, and was considered the patron of joy, love, and fertility. She was depicted more as a human body with the head of a domesticated cat. -Where cultures merged in the central area of egypt, the two goddesses also merged and a new one was created which was known as Pakhet. Pakhet was depicted as a desert wildcat - not as fierce as a lion but not as tame as a domestic cat - and merged the two aspects of the other goddesses. Another thing to mention is that Sehkmet was considered both the mother and the wife of Ra - so [CENSOR] was something predominant back then. Back to the cats thing... they were running rampant over egyptian cities. They were very well cared for in temples because they kept vermin away from the food stores and parchment/scrolls that contained religious texts. Most people in egyptian cities would feed the stray cats whenever they could, as an offering to the local cat goddess of their faith and loyalty by taking care of her 'children'. Considering the link between the cat goddesses and fertility, primarily in the south, I'm sure someone got experimental back in ancient egypt and got their bits licked by a feline at some point in time =P |

Cstek, I love you, but no...plus humans have tails. You probably had a cutie tail. When you are an embryo and swimming around in mama's belly, you and most all humans had a tail...well for around 4 weeks or so you had a tail. After that its normally absorbed by your growing body. Some babies have been born with their tail, but the doctors cut them off. If you wanted childern with tails, selective breeding would accomplish that. Not related to Cstek: I believe Choristoneura fumiferana, although not a fish, can lower the freezing point by around 6 degrees Celsius. The fish can only lower it by a degree or so Celsius. |
