Kuroichi trotted through the forest when a familiar scent wafted through his ears pricked and he set off at a light gallop, going through the forest following the scent of his friend.

" here my friend I have some water here, along with some tea and coffee, but I don't think the inhabitats would like it too much if we started a fire right now, it's way too dry, but the tea I got from the tavern before we left.. so what would you like??"

Da'main asks diesel when he hears something comeing their way.. they sit up and wait to see who is comeing their way..

* my ears perk at the sound, the brushing of the bushes and howling of the wind *

after 15 minutes and not seeing or hearing anything else, Da'mian says te diesel..

"well lets get moveing it's getting late and we need to get those stones together and get back before Aiden thinks we left without him.."

Da'mian says as he gets up off the ground and puts everything back in his pack..

" I agree and the sooner we get out of here the better "

heading out to the north-east, they follow a trail as quickly as they could not knowing what might be following them, taking breaks just long enough to get a drink and maybe some trail-mix Da'mian brought with them..after about 4hours of fast pace hiking they come to the base of the mountains, and after carefully checking where they came out of the woods at figured out they were about 3 mi.. from the cave where the stones were..

" well it's not far now my friend, we need to hurry and get these stones back and see what secrets they hold.."

" I am with you till the end my friend "

following a trail up into the foothills they find the cave Da'mian was looking for, as they inter there's a rumbling noise deep in the cavern, two bright red eyes shine back at them as they stop short and wait to see who's waiting for them.. as they start to back up the creature comes out of the shadows.. and there standing before them is a rather huge dragon..

" WHO DARES TO ENTER MY LAIR!!!" the dragon demands.. "AND WHY ARE YOU HERE." it says with a flash of flame..

"I am Da'mian, and I'm a warlock not a slayer.. my friend and I are here to retrieve some personal Items of mine that I left here, then we'll leave you alone and undisturbed.. my bundle is just around the corner there under those rocks, my I retrieve them??"

Da'mian asks, trying not to look or sound threatening..

but the dragon lowered it's head and snorted all over Da'mian..

(great dragon's snot just what I needed) Da'mian thinks with disgust.

"WHY SHOULD I LET YOU INTO MY LAIR, DO YOU THINK ME A FOOL OR WHAT?? YOU'RE JUST AFTER MY TREASURES BACK THERE.."

"look I have no interest in your treasures, all I would like to do is retrieve my gear I left..and by the way what may I call you, what is your name??"

Da'mian asks the dragon in front of him...

my name ?? my name is SCRA, and I've been here in this lair for a 100 yrs. , how is it that you left something here while I was living here??

she asks, giving him the once over..

"well let me start from the beginning, I'm over 4,000 years old and I'm from a time period that was in great turmoil, my friend and I escaped through a time portal to different time periods, some I'm still haveing a hard time remembering, my brother ,who is also a very dangerious warlock is after me and I left some belongings here for safe keepings, and now I'm here to claim them.. you know you look like a dragon I've seen in a village to the west of here. what clan did you say you were??"

Da'mian asks as he waits to retrive the stones..

* I stand outside, sensing that this is something my friend needs to do on his own. *

"look" Da'mian says to the dragon. " all I want is what's in the duffel bag in the back of the cave in a small niche I carved out, and then we'll be on our way" Da'mian said this as he heads for the back of the cave. "you can follow me if you don't trust me, all I'm after is what's mine.."

watching the rodent with suspicion the dragon follows Da'mian to the back of the cave, where the funny Lil creature starts digging at the spot where he said his bag was buried.." I still don't see how you got past me to bury that bag, it must be some kind of trick.." the dragon says as it snorts and a puff of smoke and flame comes out it's nose..

" like I explained to you already I put it here a long time ago before you arrived and took over this cave." he says as he hefts the bag up onto his back like a backpack and heads for the entrance to the cave..

" WAIT" the dragon roared stopping Da'mian in his tracks.." just what do you have in there that's soooo damn important to you that you had to hide it for soo long, and don't tell me it's your laundry either." the dragon demands..


" oh it's nothing that you'd be interested in, just a bunch of rocks I've been collecting from around the area." Da'mian says hopeing the dragon would be happy with that answer..but it wasn't..

"just what kind of rocks has a person like you hideing them from others??" it asks. and just before Da'mian answers Diesel speaks up with an answer..

* I walk into the cave and look at the dragon * " these stones are inportant to balance the very nature of all things thoughout the universe if there not properley contained they could unravel the fabric of the universe "

while Diesel has the dragon's attention he sneaks past her to where he hid the stones, retriving the back pack and head's for the intrance of the cave..
