Many people who dont have odd sexual tastes (i.e. the "normal" people) have a tendency to throw everyone who has any sexual preference into the same pool.

If you're into beast, you MUST be into [CENSOR]. If you're into [CENSOR], you MUST be homosexual.

It's a matter of ignorance. They view all of these practices as filthy, taboo, indecent, etc. and therefor think that anyone who does one of these must do all of them, because they're just a 'bad' person for liking the things they like.

I highly doubt many of the people who are into one thing are also into another, especially the two you're talking about. There are always exceptions, but you cant really say an entire group of people does one thing just because they do another. Not all animal lovers are family lovers, and neither are they all homosexual.

This is what we call generalization. You're grouping together things that dont need to be, or warrant being, grouped together. Apples and oranges. It's an approach taken by people who are too ignorant to see the truth - that every individual is just that, individual, and you cant treat anyone as part of a group because we're not all clones of one another.

Sorry for the rant, but I feel pretty strongly on the subject, I dont like being criticized when I dont warrant it, and i'm sure nobody else here does either.

Nope never have been attracted to any family members in any way shape or form. Certainly don't have any desire to be that emotionally intimate with any of them either.

Now that that's out of the way...

I wont deny i've fantacized about what i could do with a sister... but I dont have any, and i've never had any sexual thoughts about any member of my family (except a distant cousin... but she was just hot, no way around it).

I can see no good reason why anyone would link the two and if any studies came back saying there was a strong link between the two practices, I wouldn't believe it.

I doubt aside from anything else anyone engaging in either would be discussing it with ANYONE unless they wanted to face criminal charges and jail.
