I'll agree with Growlmon, but considering that I like answering such questions, I'll answer.

I'll say that really both are fun, however you have to be in the right mood. A no sex rp you can always do, simple and easy to post. However a sex rp, can be just as fun when you're in the mood.

That said. I have to think that no sex is more fun.. Sex rps are all like I suck this or I lick that in this way or that way yaddie yaddie ya.

No sex rps give you far more freedom to pose your character's words not only through the words themselves but through actions; body and facial expression.

An interesting question

I would have to say the regular RP threads are better. You can realy get involved in a long running story as you explore your charecter and interact with an evolving scenery and plotlines. Bantering with those that join for however long they stay. Plot twists can come often in some, and that is always fun. Your creativity can flow, and yes sometimes it can be challenged.

If you compare a yiff storyline to that of any other nonyiff, you will find that the yiffing tends to be short and has but a limited scope. A welcome diversion maybe, but hardly the thing that satisfies long term. On the otherhand a straight storyline can go almost indefinatly. Indeed there are a few here that have gone on a long time. The longest single thread being The Redwolf Inn. However Doomwood is a rather enjoyable story and does show great potential, and Currently the Great foliage Canyon is the fourth part in a continueng Saga, that Started with the Thread called The furry Guild.

So Obviously I find the regular RP's more enjoyable, the yiffing is but added spice

I definitely have to agree with the majority here. Without sex is much more fun, mainly because you don't need sex to enjoy the rp. You can get much more indepth storylines, and if there are others taking part, you don't have the embarrassment of the others sitting there twiddling their thumbs trying to figure out what to do while the other two (or how many ever partners you want to have in some cases) yiff.

To me I'd much rather have a good solid rp without yiffing, then one that involves pure yiffing, or a ton of it. I love a good storyline anytime!!

*LOL* anyone notice that those who prefer non-yiff rp's are the only ones who've said anything and yet yiff rp's are ahead by 1? *LOL* Just had to point that out. Come on you who prefer the yiff rps, state your reasons why, I would like to hear it!

NO SEX RP is better for me i think~ Reasons are that sex in RP is often blunt and boring UNLESS people can do it right, and besides normal RP is much more rewarding~

personally i dont mind, so far with my roleplays they start off none sexually but usually seam to end up with some yiffing thrown in, not that i mind! its realli fun i think, again, as noted before, if its good, with, when a story line has been created and over time in developes into a yiff, its feels more... intense, special, not just two people wanting to get one another off, i mean they are but... you know, it feel like it means more, like the other person is more intrested in the characters and story plot them mindless fucking and thrusting. ^_^

though ill admit, somtimes you just gotta let the animal inside yourself loose, i didnt vote on the pole as i wouldnt deside, but ill give YOU a 10 for this post ;)

I agree fully with the many that spoke their opinion apon this, to me even tho this seemed to already been asked to me and answered from others as well on anoother poll .But still I don't wish to be rude at all.

Anyways I too vote to say Rp without sex, sometimes it is a touching passionate style of rping when it comes to that but when it comes to the rping expanding new stories making new tales is the greatest feeling when making something together a grand story to last forever for others to enjoy as well. I agree fully with Aiden and Alrd among this like I state there is always something new that brings to the table new characters with all kinds of histories or their own tales to say within the plot or Something that they hide etc.

I think its much more better without the sex, but everyone has their own words apon it and I give great respect and equal to those that let their words be seen and heard I thank you for reading what I have to say even if it was something some won't read but I respect that as well.

I like rps with sex more. I think this varies with what kind of person you are. Also, this decides much of who you rp with. For example I have never rped that much with those who in this thread have said that they prefer rps without sex, but those who have said that they do, I have rped quite a lot with.
Why do some people, like myself, prefer sex rps before non-sex rps then? I don't know the exact reason, but I think it's because some people just are more horny than others :P. Also, it might be because some people uses the rp to fantasize about their dream sex. They make their dream yiffing happening in this rp. Myself I have many times dreamt about being an unicorn stallion that haves sex with a mare, and I have used rps with this dream. That way it feels a little like I'm making my dream come true.
I have always liked rps with yiff before rps without it and I will probably keep doing it. There are both negative and positive sides of this. The negative things is that I get a harder time to rp with some people and that I not always can rp with everyone. The positive sides however is that I can almost make my fantasizes come true in these rps and that I can have very much fun while doing rps with those who prefer yiff rps, like me.
I hope that I have made things a little clearer for those who have a hard time understanding why some people prefer rps with yiff.
