Can't run a PC?
hmm, i started with a Vic 20, went to a C64, then to a franklin (Apple clone). My last Apple I ran was a II GS.
But I went from that to a 286 for a short bit, till I built a 486, and have been going ever since.

While it may be, or was true, that Mac's had better graphics, that has changed.
And not all Macs had that great a graphic setup.

Anyway, one _can_ learn how to use a PC.
I have used everything from some kind of DOS on the 286 (A Tandy my brother had), to dos 6.x, and Windows 3.1 to Windows Vista now.
I used to run a BBS for many years, and kept learning as I went along.
Almost 70 and still learning, ha ha hee hee....

I took computer in engineering school in early '70's-- Watfor and Watfiv, punchcard decks, etc. So glad I did: it helps me so much now...... :pinch:

My employment is service calls--Hydraulic system setup and service-- I get paid for work done, not a penny for using a cel or computer, so no modern computer skills. Been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21 century by suppliers, manufacturers, Google, and B.F.. Deerhunter has helped me with stuff anyone else would know already...... (I should in all fairness be allowed to deduct an Elite here as an educational expense-- Someone want to talk to the IRS about that for me?) I took an evening course in computer, and blew up a PC by using the "Enter" key wrong. Someone I'm close to is a Mac Beta person, gets the very top line outfit as soon as it comes out, and I get last year's top outfit. (OS X 10.5.5 Leopard Duo-- Talk about teaching a monkey to use a typewriter....) Thing about it is, I can figure it out; it's so bulletproof I can't mess it up; and I got tech support out the wazoo. Thing against it is, the software thing; I REALLY gotta watch not leaving evidence the tech guy can find; and how on earth would I explain another computer in addition to this one? (I haven't seen the software I need-- for Mac -or- PC --, so don't guess it would help anyway).
