id like to think the majority of zoos feel this way, rather than seeing all animals as nothing more than sex vents

I most definitely feel that way when I think of living with one... Animals are not what you call "sex vents" to me. What I imagine doing when I finally get a dog of my own is to live with her (at least, I'm pretty sure it will be a female) as if she was a spouse of mine. That, however, would probably only happen with the dog that steals my heart... whoever that may be... (alas, I don't know yet.)

I sorta feel the same way. Even though I was in a few positions where I could have done something with another dog I always decided not to cause it would be like cheating on Jade.

I love my dogs more than the average person loves their pets, but I am not "in-love" with them, nor do I feel I am cheating on them by seeing humans.

Same here. Back when my grrl and I were active I dated and such, and didn't consider it cheating. Nor did I consider her a sex vent, because I did love her.

Hmm monogamous. By nature I am a flighty person. Further I believe in the capactity to love more than one individual. Add to that the fact that I think a good number of dogs is 3-4. Being surrounded by that many potential lovers its quite hard to limit my indulgences and desire to share my love. So no I am not monogamous.
