Very addicting read, for more reason than one, ^_^ . Your last one, Unicorn in the Woods, was marvelous, and a very, very nicely written story, hooked me from the first chapter.

What could happen...Lets see....I have a few predictions, but at the risk of accidentally ruining your plan, I will remain silent. Now, one last thing:

Thank you all for the great comments. I'm currently writing on chapter 3. I haven't come that far though, since this week has been really busy for me. I will do my best though to get it finished as soon as possible :)

I'm sorry for the short lenght of this chapter. I haven't been able to write much the past few weeks because of I have had so much to do irl. I hope that you will like this chapter anyway. Enjoy!

Chapter 3

Getting to know the island

“Well, tell me then”, I said and looked at her.
“Sure. The magic here is pretty special, and you can’t throw spells and things like that”, Tuslie explained. “But it affects everyone who stays here in other ways. The first thing you will notice is that you will not be hungry or thirsty as often as before. You will just need to eat and drink a few times a week.” That sounded good, I thought. But was it really true? I hadn’t felt hungry since I had come here anyway and it was quite a while ago since I ate the last time.
“It will also make you be able to transform yourself into any animal that you have previously had sex with whenever you want too.” She said it without being even a little embarrassed. Did she too know about my love for female animals? Most probably, I answered myself. If already so many animals here knew about it, the rest probably did too. I didn’t care though; it was nothing to be embarrassed for here. No humans were around and I wouldn’t say ‘no thank you’ to have sex with any of the islands inhabitants.
“Okay. Can you show me where to get food now?” I still didn’t believe completely in the magic.
“Sure, but don’t you want to look inside your cave first?” I had forgotten that I was standing outside the entrance to my cave. I turned to the entrance.
“Yes, let’s check it out”, I said and walked down the little slope.

I remember that the first time I saw how big my cave was I got really surprised. I couldn’t understand how it could fit under the ground, since the cellar was at least a few meters above my head and I just had gone down for a very small slope. And the walls, which were made out of grey stone, stood at least 5 meters from their opposite wall.
I went in a little further into the cave and looked around. Now I could see a large, but simple bed made out of leaves and grass to the right. In the left corner, which was the furthest away from me, I could see a pile which was made out of different fruits, like bananas, apples and pineapples. Even though I was underground it was still pretty much light in the cave.
“Louse and Perlou had to head back.” Tuslie came up from behind me. She looked at me and smiled as she noticed my amazement over the cave. “You like it, don’t you?”
“I love it”, I said. It was for sure an amazing cave. A place like this I could live in for quite a while.
“Great”, Tuslie said. “This cave was made with the help of magic. That’s why it’s so big if you wondered.” Tuslie said. I had guessed that already and now I got it confirmed. So magic really existed and if I had sex with any of the animals on the island I would be able to transform into that animal. I had often wished that I would be able to do so and soon I would. But I didn’t want just to rush around and start having sex with every animal I could just because of this, no; I wanted to get to know them first.
“I’m sure you have seen that pile of fruits over there”, Tuslie said and nodded towards it. “Yes, I have”, I said and she smiled again. “Want me to show you where you can pick them yourself?” I nodded and she headed towards the exit. I followed her out of the cave and soon we were out in the forest again.

Tuslie first showed me where to get food. It was at a special place of what I thought was the western part of the island. There were different fruit trees growing here and pineapples could be picked up from the ground if you just dug a little. A few bushes also grew here on which there were growing pretty big, red berries. I tasted some of them and they tasted like salty strawberries. They were actually quite tasty.
The rest of the day I spent with Tuslie as she showed me around at the western and southern parts of the island. It was made most out of woods and small lakes. At one of these lakes there was a big waterfall which I thought was magnificent. Tuslie also told me how she had and the other land-living animals had come to this island. They had all put something which could float, like a big log, into the water and then started swimming towards the island. They had all felt where it was in some way. Tuslie couldn’t explain that. Tuslie said that she hadn’t been in the water for more than a few minutes before she arrived at the island. I didn’t believe her at first, since the island was far out from land when I came to it. But then I remembered what I had thought about magic before I saw my cave. Maybe it was true, maybe the island wasn’t at the same place all the time?
Well, I didn’t care much if it did or if it didn’t. To be honest I didn’t care that much about things like that anymore. Maybe it was another magic that made me think so, I still don’t know.

At the end of the day I said goodbye to Tuslie and walked down to the beach. Tuslie had told me that this beach was called the “Dolphins beach” since the dolphins usually spent their time here when they weren’t hunting for food.
The sun was now heading down towards the horizon rather quickly. It still had quite a bit to it when I came down to the beach though, so I sat down at a little rock close to the water. The warmth from the stone felt rather nice. It was still warm outside, but it had for sure got colder and I hoped that the magic in my cave could keep it warm during the night.
I hadn’t sat there for long until I started to hear splashes from the sea. And as I looked out over the water I could see dolphins coming closer. They were jumping through the water, their beautiful and lithe bodies reflecting the last of the sun’s beams, heading towards me. I rose up and went out in the still warm water. As they came closer I could see that Defeline was the one swimming first.
It didn’t take long for the dolphins to come to me. I walked further out, until the water reached my breast. Defeline swum all the way to me while the rest of the dolphins seemed to prefer to have a little distance to me. They were quite a lot; I got it to 7 when I counted.
“Hello again”, Defeline said and showed me her small teeth as she smiled.
“Hello, Defeline.”
“Have you enjoyed your time, this far, at the island then?”
“Yes, it is a wonderful island. One of your friends, Tuslie, showed me around. She also told me about the magic, which you didn’t.” Defeline kept smiling, but now it was a little more secretly smile.
“So she did. Well, I’m sure she didn’t tell you everything though.” Before I had a chance to ask her what she meant by that, she had turned around and started to present the other dolphins for me. As Defeline told me their names they swum forward to me and nuzzled my right hand with their rostrums, the ‘nose’ of a dolphin.
I don’t remember what everyone’s name was, since I have just met some of them once or twice. All of the dolphins were bottlenose dolphins by the way, the same kind of dolphin as Defeline was. Some of these dolphins become important later on in my story, so I think I should describe how I saw them the first time I met them.
Foulie was a young, female dolphin who I thought was almost as beautiful as Defeline. When she touched my right hand I felt warmth in it. She had, and still has, a beautiful smile. When she swum back to the other dolphins I actually felt a little sad, even though she was just a few meters away from me.
The third dolphin who has played a big role in this story which I’m telling you is Dreaming. Yes, her name was Dreaming. I didn’t know how she had got her name. Perhaps she had just dreamt a lot? Anyway, when she touched my hand I felt the same warmth in it as when Foulie had touched it. I thought that maybe this was another kind of magic, maybe we had some kind of magical bond?

After the presentations were done Defeline nodded towards the rest of the dolphins. They all turned towards me and said “Good bye” before they all turned around and swum away. I was now alone with Defeline. She slowly swam forward to me. I reached out my left hand and she gently touched it with her rostrum. I went up a little, into more shallow water, so I could stand better in the water. Defeline swam with me and when I stopped moving she did too. She moved so she lay just under the surface, with her face towards the left of me.
“I’m so happy that I found you today”, she said. I slowly started stroking her back, feeling her wet skin. Some people believe that dolphins have some kind of slimy skin, but they definitely don’t. Instead, it’s more like…Hm, I don’t really know how to describe it. A little like soft rubber? Yes, soft rubber is a pretty good description. And it’s warm too. But when I touched Defeline, Foulie or Dreaming I didn’t just feel that normal, warm feeling, but also something more. It was that warm feeling I talked about before.
As I stroked Defeline she began to let out those clicking sounds I’m sure you have heard if you sometime have watched Animal Planet.
“I’m happy that I met you too, Defeline.” I said quietly after a little while.
“Thank you”, she answered.
I kept stroking her as it got darker and darker. The faint sounds of the waves hitting the beach and the quiet clicks of Defeline were the only sounds that filled my ears. I smiled and just enjoyed this moment of peace.
