Well I finally got around to writing another story. Hope you all like it. :pirate:


The New Partner

Lisa waited with surprised anticipation while waiting by the kennel. She had just been out of the Border Patrol Academy when she found out they selected her to start with the K9 program as soon as possible. She knew it was because of the dramatic surge within the Homeland Security department that she found herself so fortunate, also it didn’t hurt that her father had some connections which she suspected he had a hidden hand in. Just then Lisa turned her head towards the sound of footsteps approaching her. There before she saw her new partner and a magnificent dog he was. “Officer Munoz?” a short slender man asked. “Yes, that’s me.” Lisa responded with a big grin. “I’m Phil the trainer for your new canine partner, and this is Duke. Let me give you some information on him, as you can tell he is a German shepherd and about three years old. He’s a little high strung because he is still young, but once he has picked up a scent he’s all business which is why I decided to put him to work despite his age. Well here you go.”, and Phil handed Lisa the leash and a folder with some documentation on Duke. Lisa squatted down to Duke and let him sniff her hand and she ran her fingers through the fur on his head between his ears. “Hello Duke, I’m Lisa.” She said with a smile.

Over the next few months Lisa and Duke were inseparable through their training. The day arrived when they were ready to work check points and Duke was released under her care. Due to the isolation of their assigned post in Texas and the station being so small that it didn’t have a kennel and Lisa was able to keep Duke at her new home. Several weeks had passed and the two had adjusted very well to their new assignment catching one smuggler with a few pounds of marijuana hidden in the cushion of his seat.

Lisa laughed as she realized she realized Duke was watching a blue movie, not quite porn but by the scene Lisa was seeing at the moment it might as well have been. Lisa grabbed anther beer out of the fridge and sat on the sofa Indian style. She changed the channel to see what else was on but her thoughts dwelt on the sex scene just on.
