I'd answer this a different way, because I am a fur ry, but I dont feel the need to yiff. In vt, I know there are people who rp only to yiff, and it's they are the one's who have a ton of mates, or run from thread to thread grabbing mate to mate specifically for that purpose. Being a fur ry involves more than that. IMHO there is more to the purpose of rp and being a fur ry then just finding a poa. It goes further and into your rl, not just on a board.

Being a fur ry involves more then just yiffing, it goes a lot deeper. It goes back to the 1980's from a drawing in a comic book, and developed from that to what it is today. It didn't start out as a yiffing idea, it started out as something far greater, and to develop it into something that just involves yiffing is degrading that idea.

Now what I find so interesting is that this idea that someone saw a drawing in a comic book has now developed into what we have now. A following which has huge conventions like Further Confusion, Anthrcon, Califur that people from all over the world attend, fursuits, plushies, more comic books websites, even charaties that celebrities have attended. Whats great about the conferences is that they raise money for animal charities, or other charities. I think it's amazing.

So yes, I'm proud to say I'm a fur ry, and I don't just come here to yiff, however I am not saying I haven't done it either. I do enjoy it, I just don't run around searching for it with whoever I can. I hope that makes sense and shows why I couldn't choose one of the above, because yes I do yiff, just not constantly, as a fur ry, nor do I feel the intense need for it to survive. *smiles* (sorry bout the space in the word, but got tired of the symbol *L*)

I'm a furry and I roleplay but I hardly ever yiff. ^_^

I'm a furry but I don't go seeking to yiff. The rping is enough to satisfy me. ^_^

Any roleplay is fun, I like the yiff, but I also like to fight. Preferably violent, and someone has to die. I like dying. B)

However I do like to get serious as well. Yiffings fun an all, but we gotta change that too from time to time.

If you look, I kinda developed my characters in RP all for different suits.
Leon : The guy whos travelled all his life, happy to settle down.
Hybrid : Fighting, battles, war, destruction. He's all the anger that has gotta get out.
Rune : Just wants to interact. Conversation, group gatherings, hes all social.
Tyro : The stripping jackel, as proud of his member as anything else. The yiff-o-matic of my chars.

I prefer to use different outlooks so I dont depend on ONE char for EVERYTHING. Leon as a slut? Hell no! Hybrid as a socialist? WTF...

So I guess I'm sorta here and there.

I agree with alrd I actualy kind of have a split pursonality to that Sometimes i am just in the mood to rp but sometimes i want to yiff

I voted that im here to yiff cause im really horny frequently.

furry for sure but agree with Alrd on the yiff topic, don't consider it any sort of requirement to being a furry or being part of a role play.
