what about setting up an informal Syd social pub meet?
Set a date and a place and see who turns up. No pressure and no hassle. How many would be interested. I think it's almost the anniversary of the last one. |

I was hoping to try and organise something like that a couple of months ago. I had the best of intentions but I've been traveling so much for work that I've barely been here.
That said, if you pick a good time and place I'll attend if I'm able. I was at the last one and it was good to meet a couple of folks from here :) |

Why does Syd always seem so quiet compared to the rest of Oceania? If we have any takers for a Syd social meet - post here (or PM me if shy) and we'll see what we can do. I'm thinking somewhere central and informal. |

Perhaps somewhere where it's not too hard to get a small group sitting in the one place (without having to elbow your way through) and converse without shouting. The pub we had the last meet at was great, but I don't find noisy places conducive to good conversation.
