"tell me aiden , just a quik question , do you mind scorpions?"

I'm not very found of them. Why ?

*Gets a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach

"hmm . . . well you see aiden , i dont think the gigantic one behind you is very fond of you either . . . so i think I will distract it . . . and you try using one of those spells on it , dont be careful , splat this thing . . ."

*darting to the side , sprinting for the scorpions legs , sickles outstretched and ready*

*Curses under my breath as I nod slowly

*Tusk chuckles at Aiden and Dow's bickering, aiding Aiden by trying to force his legs apart so that the silk was streached and easier to cut. He keep an eye on the spider he had thrown against the wall, noticing that it was indeed regaining its bearing and beginning to get to its feet.

He was about to mention this to Aiden, but groaned in annoyance as a large scorpion, reared its ugly head above Aiden's. He frowned and snorted angrily at it. Not in the mood to put up with its kind, wanting to finish the spider so that he may help Dow counteract the venom of the bats*

*Having almost freed Tusk from his sticky situation, Aiden sets the knife down slowly hoping his friend can finnish freeing himself. With a ball of lightning already forming Aiden turns and launces the ball at the beast, following it quickly with another. The first is slightly off mark and only manages to sever the tail from the scorpian. The second hits the beast fully, engulfing it in a spectacular light show as the charge spreads throughout it's body.

"Dow! keep that spider distracted!"

*Tusk quickly grabed the knife Aiden had been using to try and free him, slicing through the remaining strands of spider web, pulling it roughly off his fur with a grunt and running over to Dow to give him a hand with the spider*

"We have to get this one and get you fixed up. The parenets of this one and the others are going to be a lot harder to kill without harming the head."

*He looked at Dow and smiled, drawing his fullblade mercurial and eyeing the spider which had backed itself into a corner, preventing them from getting behind it*

*growling in his chest Dow sprints at the scorpion , dodging as it lashes its tail into the ground where he was standing , vaulting into the air and slamming a sickle into its back , cracking its outer armor slightly*

*As the scorpian writhes in agony the light coursing through it's body changes color. The black shell grows red as the flesh inside is cooked by the heat and pressure building within. Steam escaping from the fracture Dow had inflicted in it. There is a cracking sound as the crack splits and tears. Fissures appearing as the small wound spiderwebbs over the outer shell. Suddenly pieces of shell are flying everywhere as the body explodes. Bats bein to fall from the sky., thier bodies punctured by the bits of shell that had killed them. Some still clung to life, wings shredded. Screeching in agony

*seeing the imminent explosion Dow sprinted at tusk , grappling him and diving behind a rock as shell bits screamed through the air , lodging into walls and bats with deadly speed*

"nice one aiden . . ."

*Aiden says as he stands up from behind a boulder he had used for cover

So wheres that spider of Tusks ?

*turning round to the light he placed first time down here , seeing the spiders body behind the burnt out body of Tals spider*

"there , behind the charred one , i think iits head and fangs are in good shape from what i see"

*Tusk Grunted as he was tackled by Dow, hitting the dirt ahrd as they land. He quickly got up to make sure the spider hadnt escaped, and was surpised to see it hadnt been damaged by either explosion or shrapnel.

He hurried over and stod before it, barring its way and keeping it in the corner till one of the otheres managed to help him destract it*

*Standing up from his sitting position while drawing his hand and a half moon steel blade Talendar looks around taking in all movement. Spotting the spider that was regaining it bearings and begining to stand, he makes a quick Dash over to one side of the spider knowing tusk could work with the opening it would create he slashes at the creatures legs getting the beast to give him its attention. The Spider turn faster than Tal expected Nearly taking his head off with a two legged swing, luckly he leaned back a inch out of the way*
"Tusk Get him"
*Tal says dodging the strikes from the spider increasing the opening of its back, but tripping and having to Dive as the explosion rocks the cave and the spider Pins him under it legs as it lowered its flithy head down fangs beared aiming for him, as he tries to fight off the legs holding him*

*As Tusk looked on, he saw Tal trip and become pinned by the spider, taking a less risky approach and more helpful to both Dow and Tal. He quickly dashed around its side, coming in line with its small neck, springing forward to add force to his strike, holding his sword low as he got closer, quickly making an upward swing once he got close enough, severing the spider's head from its body, sending it away from Tal from where he had been pinned, not wanting the heavy head to crush his friend*
