*picking pieces of bat from his teeth and kicking the twitching corpse away from himself*

"indeed . . . well lets find a spider , these holes in my back are beginning to hurt more . . ."

Well the next bat I'll try some harmless spell on just the same

*Laughs as I produce several glowing spheres of light

Lets shed some light on the situation shall we ?

"Why thank you, I'm so glad you each enjoyed it."

*Looking around, ducking each time something flew over, she watched as DoW bit down on the bat, wrinkling up her nose.*

"That looks nasty. Hey, Aiden, isn't a party supposed to be fun, not, well..creepy and just gross like this?"

*She watches the one being sliced in half, then picks up a rock and tries flinging it at a bat flying by, missing it, but ducking as the rock hits the wall and bounces back, mumbling to herself.*

"I'm ready when the rest of you are, bats or spiders, why can't we find something nice some time, like say, flowers?"

*Shivering.*

*conjuring up a little flower of glowing red poer and threading it into talaris hair*

"there you go my dear! , now lets tru different tunnels . . . remember i need the spiders head!"

Usually yes.

Perhaps this is a halloween party. at least it seems a lot like one of mine

"Thank you, DoW, how nice, a flower deep down in this hole, now thats a change."

*She looks over to Aiden and nods.*

"That would be great, an actual party instead of all..well this evil and darkness. Hey, maybe if we think of this as a Halloween Party, it wont be as fearsome. Thats a good idea, thanks, Aiden."

*She starts walking through the tunnel, then stops and looks over to DoW, having not been in the tunnel when he was talking of the need for the spiders head.*

"Ummm why do you need the head, DoW?"

"oh the usual , giant venomous bat holes in my back , need spider venom to counteract it , you know how it is"

*smiling and poking his tongue out*

*A grunt came from up ahead of the party, followed by a loud crunch, a large spider materialising out of the shados and slamming into a wall near the group.

Tusk slowly walked out of the shadows, sheilding his eyes from the light as his eyes hadnt adjusted yet. He smiled and wiped some sweat from his furry brow.*

"Hey there guys. One spider to orderRRRR HEY!"

*Tusk hit the floor as from his waist down was covered in spiderweb, binding him and rendereing his legs useless. He cursed and tried to break the web, wrigling furiously as he partially saw the form of what he had been running from in the shadows, his darkvision hampered by the [SPAM] lights*

"Um, what we didnt relise was that the ones we killed had parents"

*He looked to the form of the smaller spider he had thrown against the wall, equal in size to the ones he and Tal had killed. Watching as it twiched and began to rise....*

Well that was to be expected.

*Moves to help Tusk

I'm assuming that silk around your legs is not a fashion statement

*Chuckles as I pull out a blade and plunge it toward Tusk, aiming to cut him free

*grinning at him all webbed up*

"serves you right for sitting on me tusk!"

Come now Dow, nobody deserves to be wrapped up in a tight package. Or to be liquified for some spiders dinner. Would you wish that kind of agony on your worst enemy, let alone an Allie ?

*Slowly cuts through the thick sticky silk.

"hmm you never know . .. im kidding of course aiden , though he IS heavy!"

*grinning lightly watching aiden release tusk*

Well at least your body was trying to. I think it was the deamons around the protective shield that were controlling you. That or whatever is on the other side of the vortex. So I can't blame him for sitting on your sandy hide

*chuckles as I continue cutting, though I swear I can see movement in the shadows

*looking at him sighing at the sandy hide comment then freezing up*

"aiden . . . stop moving now . . ."

*slowly lifting my eyes to the shadows , seeing a giant pincer like limb emerge from the darkness then another then what is most obviously a scorpions gigantic head*

"oh by the gods . . . not one of these"
