The electric charge should have been enough to warn you off
*The presemce says with a slight edge, as it ponders the explanation spewed forth by the fox Your soldiers ? I dare say they would be the masters soldiers, you may be in command of them but that is all. Why the master saw fit to put you in charge is a mystery, but he has his reasons. As for them vouching for your charecter, I would doubt the words spoken by them about you. Seldom do you hear anything unflattering about supirior officers |

"I will say it once again to you. It's not possible to leave when you're being held fast by the one sending a 'warning', as you have put it. Was more like an attempt at my life from my viewpoint. You should look into your own actions as much as my own or we will forever be in disagreement."
*Zadir crossed his arms.* "Then perhaps you'd like to ask your master exactly for what is going on more then, since you seem to refuse to listen to the truth when it comes from me." |

You could have left before then.
The arms grabbing you were well into the fray. Besides you handled them swiftly enough. It wasn't as if you couldn't have left after that. You had plenty of opertunity to leave. My actions were in accordence with masters standing orders. That's all I'll say in the matter. I don't see any merit to your being here, but as master wishes you to be part of his plans I'll tolerate your pressence here |

"You'll be doing more than tolerating my presence. You've just been put under my command by your master. What do you have say of that?"
*Zadir gave a smug expression.* |

*Zadir laughed at the remark.*
"Must you be so cruel? All of the damage that was caused to this chamber by me can easily be restored back to it's original condition. Grudges are bad to hold, you know? I'd wager even your master would vouge for that." |

If you look around you'll see that all has already been restored
Like I told Master Lindon My power and skill has grown considerably over these past few eons. My abilities have been refined and polished. Improvments have been made throughout this subteranian complex. Only his study and living quarters have remained as he left them. Now I'll not hold your rash actions against you, but I'll not tolerate anymore destructive behavior. I cannot stand having this place rent asunder, no matter how quickly I might be able to rebuild. It's rather anoying, and I have better things to tend to. Like thawing Deamons, and making sure Intruders find there way to the land of the dead. One way or another I always get them there |

"Well, you should note I am not an intruder from now on...and what is this about 'thawing deamons'?"

So noted.
As for thawing deamons A few months ago a small party went through here. The deamons were doing a rather admirable job of dispatching them. Unfortunatly they were frozen by an Equine mage. He created the snow you saw earlier. nearly did him in casting that spell, it allowed me to infect him. He along with his party made it to the pool of tranquility. Luckily they stumbled through the waterfall into the land of the dead. So they'll not be a problem anymore |

"Waterfall to the land of the dead? Equine mage?..Hmm..this all intrigues me more than you probably would know. Mind if I ask more about those events during that time that the group passed through the tunnels?"

"Well..what of this 'Land of the Dead'? There is more than one way to go to it than through death?"

There are many paths to that Land.
But once there one can never return I would advise against venturing there |

*Seeing that Zadir was talking with whatever it was that controlled this place, and that all seemed for now to be under control Fang felt it best to poke around. Though considering what had happened when the alter was aproached, he thought it best to avoid it at all costs. Instead he would patrol the edges. Perhaps one of the blades the skeleton army had wielded would still be laying about.
*He figured that only well equiped, but foolish warriors would have ventured here. So possibly he might just find something better to wield then his own blade. Likely it would need some repair, a bit of pollish. Still anything was better then his own crumpled bade. Sure he had the one lent to him by Zadirs son, but it just didn't feel right using a living soldiers weapon. |
