I'm a newbie and my boyfriend and I want to get a dog that will mount me. Is there a particular breed that is good for that? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks a bunch!

pretty much any dog will.. :P But there are certain thing you might be looking for...

Pick a dog that fits your lifestyle...

House size, yard size... Farm or apartment

Budget... some dogs are pricey, but there's always a nearly free adoptable lovable mutt.. :P

Dog size... A Great Dane or Husky... When the dogs ready, how much are you prepared to receive.

and if you're wanting a "soon as possible, but teachable" if he's about two years old, they have plenty of happy years ahead of them, yet physically developed and will enjoy his new hobby.

Just take it slow and read up on setting "fun time training" here on the forum.

If you want to get yourself a sex toy, there's a number of shops in every larger city or on the net.

Dogs are no sex toys. Getting one for that sole purpose will lead to problems, especially for the dog. What if the dog you're buying has no interest? Are you sure you can offer a dog that lives for about 12 years a home for the whole time? Will he get out a lot? Will you spend (non-sexual) time with him? If you don't, he will suffer. Dogs suffer quietly, but the do suffer.

Think again. A dog makes a great companion, he's loyal and trusting if you give him reason to be. You have to earn his trust. Sex is a extra - a nice extra, granted, but an extra. You should ask yourself if you'd be fine with a lovely companion but no sex. If you're not, don't buy a dog, for heaven's sake!

I completly agree, I sujest that you maybe ask around here to meet up & burrow someones dog from here if that is all you want. Dog's are not objects or toys and should not be treated so please think about this before deciding on making a 10-16 year life decision.

I also agree that. But I also suggest bigger dogs if you have access to. Labradors, GSDs are possibly the best.

Well if your gonna haul off and get a dog without letting someone help you try it out. My suggestions for novices. Labs, G sheps, Goldens, Dobies, any of a number of what are refered to as gun hounds, sheparding dogs in general. As a rule, if a breed was designed to work alone out of sight of its owner, that usually means they were bred to be more intelligent and adaptable. Individual dogs that are intelligent and adaptable are more likely to understand and accept sex with a human.

I second everything said about a lifetime commitment with your new friend. But on with your original question.. I think most people use rotties and german shepherds, but when it comes down to it, just choose someone you love. He'll give you what he's got, but only if you give back! :D

i totally agree with shepherdlover777 its true that you cant just pick up any full grown dog and expect it to mount you because dogs are not toys! I also agree with the fact that German Shepherds are the most loyal mates you can find as long as you give them lots of love and attention!

Well I'm somewhat biased towards German Shepherds as he was my very first but a GSD did not suit my lifestyle requirements when I went to choose a dog I could live with for the next 10 to 15 years, be the right type of companion for me etc.

Therefore I chose a Labrador / Doberman mix. I chose a Labrador because he fitted in well with my life style, had a personality I liked, would be easier for me personally to control, wouldn't scare the local kids or my nieces and nephews and was reasonably sized too.

Hope this helps! In an ideal world I would have picked a different dog if a sexual companion was all I wanted. In the real world that just doesn't work and to pick one solely for the size of his anatomy with no regard to temperament, environment, how we'd get on when we're just dog and owner is just a disaster waiting to happen.
