Energydog I envy you that experience! Given the opportunity, it's very tempting. But I read somewhere that it's a big no-no because you're guaranteed to get worms, that's how the mother transmits worms to her pups. Did you take any precautions for worms, or is that risk not so great after all, or what? |

not really correct. If the bitch is healthy and free of worms (she should be free of them prior to breeding) then she can't possibly transmit them to pups or a human suckling her. Also, the worms a dam passes to pups are not transfered easily through milk but are transmitted via the blood prior to birth or through the fecal/ oral path after birtf through unclean kenneling
