I expect Domino's will be very confused as to why they are losing cash, they didn't know that by pissing off beaker, several hundred thousand people would boycot them :P |

I usually only eat the kind of pizza i get out of a freezer, honestly, mostly cuz I am cheap (or so I have been told.)
I am willing to spend a lot of money on cars, houses, computers and motorcycles, but not on food (unless it is chinese.) Ya could always get DiGiorno... it is cheap. Then again, I like that Philly Cheese Steak Pizza that i get delivered occasionally (on tuesdays when i get one free.) |

Eww! Dominoes pizza is INEDIBLE cold. The cheese becomes all sludge like and crumbly  It's like the only pizza I can't eat cold quickly if I'm on the run. Pizza Hut just tastes better though they consistently take FOREVER wherever you find on. It's worth the wait though  I haven't had either in a while :ruck:  |

Dominos???
To quote a friend (and I'd have to agree): I rather eat the fucking BOX!!! But, when you just have to have a pie, and there's no one else around....what'cha gonna do? I feel for you B.......maybe slather it with jalapenos or some other hot sauce?? Just make sure you take your antacids! |

I've never eaten much pizza from major chains, only Domino's, so I can't compare between them. I did go through a period of eating a lot of Domino's though, and I started to get sick of it, way too greasy.
Regardless, I'd say they all taste the same to me, unless it comes down to specialty pizzas, but even then I don't have much of a preference. As long as it isn't cheese only, it's good. Around here, there's really only a few local places nearby, and their pizzas are usually good, but rarely worth the cost, since they always seem to miss something. Not enough sauce, not enough cheese, too much of one topping, not enough of another, etc. |

I have found that the best pizza is the one you make at home......
You can use whatever crust you like, a bought one like DiGorno, or one you make yourself from scratch, and you can pick and choose a sauce and toppings as you like. Use the pizza sauce from one national brand and the toppings that come from another, or crust like one and sauce from another.... IDIC .....(edit : trekker jargon just in case - Infinite Diversity In Combination) If I have to buy one because of the time factor, I have choice of Dominos, PizzaHut, Donatos, or what I think is now a local chain, Pasqualis..... Of course, my local Kroger Supermarket has a pizza in their deli shop that is just about as good also... I don't buy too many of the frozen pizzas like Red Baron or such but occasionally have some like that when someone else has provided the food and some are edible.... Sometimes it is difficult to compare foods as you usually don't have the options to sample anywhere close to the same time and maybe you don't really remember the quality correctly, and maybe the person who fixed your last one was having a bad day and just plain made a mess of it...... Oh well, as I said, home made is usually the best....! This post has been edited by BeastZeke on Aug 11 2007, 05:32 PM |
