I couldn't stop myself from starting another sexual relationship with a dog, if one was easily available. However I do know what renn is talking about here. When I first got my Lab, I got him with the full intention of sex. However I could only see him as my little puppy, even when he was fully grown. Finally I decided to take the plunge regardless, and I'm glad I did. But for a while there I wasn't intereste4d in having a sexual relationship with him.

Hi Renn! Had a vaguely similar experience. I was not long ago interested in exploring my bi side. I fantasized about it a long time, and thought it was going to be just great. But when the opportunity finally came, I realized I really didn't want to. Go figure...

Maybe he's just not the right dog for you, that way? Or maybe is because you've had such an intense (for lack of a better word) conventional relationship that now it seems strange to think of him in another light?

Anyway, if you are happy with your companionship, that's what's really important. Maybe you have just been leaning more towards horses since your canine encounter? Or do other dogs still excite you? If that's the case, then I'm sure it's just because of the nature of your relationship - all of your work with him in "pet" category has removed him from the "potential lover" category. Perhaps?

Anyway, just my $0.02.

he's not a puppy, although i don't believe he is four as the rescue told me, i think thats been mixed up somewhere, I think he's 2 at the most - he's still pretty puppyish. Thinking about it, no, i dont think dogs do turn me on that much anymore :( I may have totally gone over to the equine side.... :o :D

I completely understand this.

I have four dogs, but I only engage in activity like this with one of them. I touch him, let him lick me ( LOVE the tongue. Omg. What an incredible pleasure. He laps at me while I rub on my clit. It's amazing. ) But he's the only dog of mine I feel comfortable doing it with. I tried with my girl jack russell, but she didn't like it...and I didn't exactly feel right about doing it ( even though I think bitches are INCREDIBLY sexy. I would really like one that is comfortable with me, actually.)
I don't know what it is. But for right now... I just feel comfortable with him and none of my other dogs.

I may have to take some pictures and/or video to contribute to you guys. ;)

Renn, I have the same issue with my G/F hun. Shes hard work, and I'am quite happy not to shag her.

If its gonna happen it will, anyways as he's new get him trained and bond with him first, then take it from there.

Well I would just like to say that its just like having a girl friend ,
just because u have a friend that a girl does not mean u have to have sex with her ,
similarly just because you have a dog doesn't mean you have to do it.

its more to do what you feel like for an individual , not something that has to be the same with everyone

I think that is a very good thing. It's great that you want him as a companion first and formost, and who knows, maybe sometime down the road, you might get the urge to make him a mate as well.

Giving a dog a happy home and a good life is what really matters, of course you should enjoy his company to. you can always change your mind later on.
