thats very true, I was thinking that before. but I don't think we'll be seeing the outing of many zoo's anytime soon :/

Of course I hide it especially in my line of work. I don't need my life or my family's life ruined because some close minded idiot takes exception to my chosen sexuality.

There is only one person besides yall that knows that i am the way i am and that is my ex-fiance! so i dont have to hide it around him but i do with everyone else!

Far too much of a risk to take to talk about it openly. Besides it doesn't hurt anyone else in my life so why open myself up to criticism etc unecessarily ? It's my business and my business only primarily.

I would say why have her move in if she doesn't know. You tied your self down with a secret and that can cause problems down the road. :(

My wife does know but is not into things as I am. Wish she were more my may but we still have a good life together, and that is the important thing

My partner and I both had this interest well before we met, though neither of us had any idea it was shared at first. Eventually it came out, though I don't remember exactly how/when. We're very open and share all our fetishes; amazingly, almost all of them are mutual so that worked out nicely.

As for other people, we've recently started to be a little more open about it and have actually found out that some of our friends and acquaintances are zoos as well. So don't assume you're the only one! Who knows...your neighbor or best friend may be posting in the thread right above you ;)

I need to hide it also, but it's no big deal. I'm not in the habit of discussing intimate details about my human relationships with others so I don't feel this is any of their business either.

My boyfriend doesn't know and I have no intention of telling him.

Besides, I kinda like having a naughty secret all to myself. :devil2:

Yes, I have to hide it. If it got out I'd find myself unemployed, possibly disowned, probably in a psych ward or jail. It's not tolerated very well around here needless to say. Posting here even makes me nervous.

Perfectly stated, people are too quick to judge. I wish people would use common sense, we're not hurting anyone or anything.

I can't vote because I don't have a significant other, and I see by your post thats what you mean. On some level every one hides it, like, at least from society, because they all know it ain't accepted yet. As for with there significant other, it depends on how the relation ship starts, most likely they will hide it, at least until they decide to share it. If it starts out with that understandment.. well those are the lucky people.

I've gotten to the point in life where can say that I don't hide it from anyone other then my family (and only because I depend on them financially ._. )

This subject is kind of a two way street with me.
I am open, in the fact that I am interested in the lifestyle. But tend to use those little white lies when the subject is turned on me directly. I say I'm into the 'taboo' of watching women with dogs and horses. While hiding the fact that I would love to join in on the fun.

I really wish I didnt have to hide the fact that I really enjoy zoo but if I did I think I would loose like all my friends and family so right now I have to keep it under wraps witch really sucks..

I dont mind keeping the secret from family and friends but it would be nice if I had a woman I could share my lifestyle with and enjoy in our relationship
