Chapter Seven - Is It Love? Or Something More Than It Seems?

Zumash looked at Evan. The flood of feelings returned like a waterfall, threatening to break the damn he had made to keep them back. “Evan,” Zumash began softly, “I need to tell you something. Something that I’ve been wanting to tell you for a long time.” Evan looked up slowly into his green eyes, the firelight playing off them. “What is it?” Evan said playfully, the wine taking its toll. “I’ve been wanting someone to hold a special place in my heart. And, ever since I’ve met you, something has been stirring within me. And I think you’re that someone.” Zumash didn’t know why he was saying this. Evan gazed deeply into the dragons eyes through his playful state. Evan stood up, and moved to Zumash. The bottle of Elvin Wine laid forgotten; empty and finished.

Evan couldn’t understand, nor have the slightest idea what he was doing. All he cared about was that look that Zumash was giving him. “But, what is it that you want?” Evans tone was growing softer, losing its normal roughness. Gazing upon Evan and his body, the eyes of the dragon slowly went over him. Thoughts of every kind coursed through Evans mind in a whirlwind of madness. Evan finally looked up. He didn’t care.
