Really though great that things worked out with him..everything you mentioned sounds pretty normal to me, triangular isn't exactly how I'd characterize a knot, but it isn't something you can really put a shape to it, and with many dogs it looks a little different with each one. They grew up together and were best buddies but then the pyr had to go to be trained because he was chasing the goats (naughty boy) and 1 month later they HATE eachother! lol. :( But we have BC pups on the premisis and both mom and pop are VERY protective, so maybe it will die down or maybe they will aways fight... dunno...

That's too bad, perhaps when things die down some they'll get back to the way they were, I could understand how the pups would cause that reaction though. My guess things will probably get back to normal once the pups are gone. Thought they could be perhaps a good duo for you, but best to keep them seperate if there is going to be a problem, figured one could learn from the other as well.
