True - I guess I was a bit unclear about what I meant. Of course, if it is just a flash in the pan, then nothing will come of it. But it will help to open the door. There have been a couple pornstars in the past that did dogs - Linda Lovelace and...I forgot the name of the other :blush: ... but nothing came of them. But now that so many other "fetish" subjects are going mainstream and getting their own websites and dvds, zoophilia could also ride that trend. The end result is that it slowly becomes more and more mainstream. It's what we don't know that we fear, and if people get better acquainted with zoophilia, even if it is just from porn, I think it will make them more accepting, and possibly even more understanding, of it.

I expect this would make zoophilia much harder to defend, and perhaps even strengthen animal cruelty laws, and create more widespread mandatory spay/neuter laws as well.

This could hold especially true if beast porn becomes mainstream to the point where it's commonly practiced. Given that porn companies exist solely for profit, I worry that animal abuse might become prevalent within their business. With that in mind, I'm sure these porn businesses would be under investigations by the authorities, and if animal cruelty is ever found, it could have serious consequences for everyone.

To be honest, I really can't work up any feeling for it one way or the other. Its not like she's a mainstream actress or showbiz personality. The world tends to see porno actors as hardly any better than prostitutes or pain sexual deviants. I think very, very, very few porno names would help our cause in any way shape or form. That is, in terms of helping see our type of sexuality as acceptable. More power to her for having the bravery to come out and say it. But think back, does anybody remember the name Chessy Moore? Albeit she was probably a slightly lesser known porno name, she was none the less bigger than most other female actresses out there. She was widely known to like dog sex and made more than a few movies getting schtupped by them. Including one of the best knotting/tying scenes ever captured(either pro or amateur). The acceptance of our lifestyle didn't change one iota from her escapades. So I think those of you consider that her expressions on matters of a zoophilic or bestialist nature, to be a positive step in our acceptance in the public at large, may be a bit premature.
