I agree that I think it is a positive thing that she came out and said this. Anything that puts the whole zoo concept more into the mainstream is a good thing. While I agree that a porn star wanting to do it does not neccesarily mean people are going to say "Oh, it must be normal," it does push it a little more into the public consciousness. And it does seem like more zoo/beasty stuff is popping up in movies and TV lately, usually as jokes on sitcoms and stuff, but still, it puts it out there, exposing people to the idea, making it a bit more familiar. And, slowly, I think the more familiar the idea becomes the more likely it is to become gradually more accepted.

Also, it may make some people who are kind of interested in it but scared to really even admit it to themselves (i.e. they are so far "in the closest" as far as zoo goes that they don't even acknowledge it in their own mind) realize that, hey, other people think about this too, I am not the only one.

Look again at how many people replied to her blog in a positve way. I think this fantasty is much, much more common than society would have us believe.

ok, we all know that a "dirty" taboo friendly image sells, (Right Mr Marylin Manson? ^_^ ), but what counts (to me) is what came behind the blog, the comments...
most of them were ok, probably the one that was removed was agressive or something, but the otherones were somewhat supportive...

then we have basically two scenarios, one they put that for shock value, which is (to our cause) good, because such things are said/made after an extensive market study, meaning, it must be something fringe but that will be accepted, and not fall off grace, in which case, the comments afterwards might be allso pre defined or not, but that is basically irrelevant, since they are there to make sure the wage goes in the right direction. there is a list as long as my arm of people who used this on every field of human discipline, from arts (Pagannini, Madonna, TaTu, Manson...), Engineering Gaudi supposedly used no math to work (more on that later), Science Difussion, Steve Irwin, the Mythbusters...

and the second possiblility is that she put that there because she really feels so, and then, that means there is more people willing to accept and talk about the "deed" in the open (shame on us!, cowering inside the kennel/barn!, after all, they just burn people on the stake for bestiality! :lol: )

in either of both, it is eventually a win scenario, if the first, it means people are willing to act non violently (or negatively) to the idea of zoosexuality, and that it might come in fad as goth-punk is asociated with Marilyn Manson, and if the secondone, it means that the weather is changing...

I rode somewhere that there is a 20 year cycle for sexual liberation, in the 60's it was at a highest, while in the 80's it was at a lowest... 2000's should be the dawn of a new era in deed!

I have seen the future... it will happen like this.

Just because some porn star said she wants to have sex with a dog doesn't mean that the whole world is going to say "Well, thats ok!" I'm sure she actually LOST a fair number a subscribers for that, because some people find it so abhorrent. However, many people here think she is cooler now, and may even get a subscription to her site.... I think that she, as an individual, made a step in the right direction, that is, admitting that she wants to do this, but hasn't made any leaps for society.

Do you think porn stars are more likely to be into beastiality? Because they are less inhibited, more into "freaky" sex stuff? Or do you think they are just as likely to think it's "sick" or crossing the line?

I was watching "Fetish Fanatic # 4" by Evil Angel last night. The second scene in the flick starred Belladonna and Sasha Grey. It was supposed to be BTS segment but it turned out better than a BTS. So the director put as part of the flick.

I've read that this is common among pornstars. However, beastiality laws in the US are an issue here. Take in account that Chessie Moore had to make her films in the Netherlands and that most of her fellow actresses and actors didn't aprove such activities. If a professional beast movie is shot and distributed in the US, it's very likely that the actors involved will be busted by the authorities. I've seen famous actresses, such as Ava Devine, Taylor Rain or Gia Paloma performing wastersports scenes, and Rocco have admitted to participate in a private scat session with another famous actress, but I think it's far away the day we'll see a pornstar making a zoo film.

She's got the bite. Yanno once she does take the plunge, she'll be hooked for life. It's interesting seeing someone speak so candidly about it. When you think about it, who better to bring it to light than a porn star? They're already sexually starved, that much everyone knows and accepts, so why not? If a "normal" person (read: not a porn star) said these things, they'd be considered wierd.

But then again on the other hand, I wonder how exciting it'd be if it was so widely accepted? Part of it is the taboo of it all, for me anyways.

I doubt this is going to change anything, but it's still nice to hear. There are still going to be just as many people who are disgusted by this kind of thing, and having a porn star endorse it isn't going to change their minds. We're probably going to remain an underground community for a long, long time. That being said, bring on the movies!
