QUOTE (k9.hottie @ Jun 20 2007, 03:51 PM)
I'm emotionally conflicted as to respond in this thread, or not. I am sure there are people who will take offense at what I say. Since I am posting, in my defense I say these are generalities and they don't necessarily apply to any specific individual. If you feel they don't apply to you, then they don't. Please don't get upset and feel like you need to write to me to tell me that you aren't like that.

The people I've met on the internet (especially when bestiality is concerned) fall into one of four categories.
1) real wackos
2) posers
3) cops
4) genuine people

It is usually pretty hard to distinguish between any of the first three categories, since any one person could fall into any or ALL three of them at the same time. However, since I don't have any interest in them, that's not a problem. It's usually pretty easy to tell the first three from the last category. The problem is the last category is in a very, VERY, VVEERRYY small minority. I actually can't make any generalizations about the genuine people. I haven't gotten to meet enough of them to form any. That is also probably because real people are unique. It is a pleasure to find one.

The other categories, well, here's what I've seen: almost always, they are males, usually single (well, I suppose the cops could be married - but don't get me started on the police), and have no real knowledge about animals even when they claim to be in the room with one. They know what they've SEEN in pictures and READ in stories. That will possibly fool people who have only seen pictures and read stories. Once you've really done it, well, it's different from the pictures and the stories.

Even the "females" that fall into those categories are usually single males. Just two weeks ago, a couple contacted me. Well, a male contacted me saying his girlfriend wanted to learn how to do things with their dog. She started to chat with me. To make a long story short: there was no girl, there was no dog. Only a pathetic lonely single male. Yes, once caught in the lie, he admitted it. I imagine that when a poser meets another poser, they each get their rocks off, everyone is happy, and no one is the wiser.

I don't know how many of each category I've met. The more strange (or perverted, if you prefer) a person is, the more I suspect poser. As soon as children are mentioned, I suspect cop. The best advice I can give is to immediately make clear you aren't interested and block all communication with these people. Even a small conversation with the wrong person about the wrong thing could be enough to get you busted in a bad way. Think it can't happen to you? Anyone here remember what happened with the Amatuer Action BBS? Real scary stuff. (I'm willing to bet a lot of the same pictures that they had can be found in this forum.) Oh, and don't think the whole "cops can't lie, so ask them if they are a cop" thing will protect you. That's urban legend, and frankly, cops don't want the truth about that known. It would make their job that much harder.

I could probably rant for pages, but I won't. No one wants to hear me spewing for hours on end.

Good luck.

Nicki

Excellent advice K9, this is pretty much guide worthy stuff right there.

A big 10 for you ^_^

Yes, I have considered it. In the past, I have removed them. But ultimately, people are here to meet people. To do that, they need to be able to contact you (even the guests). It means I get more undesirable people contacting me, but it means I may get more genuine people contacting me.

In for a penny, in for a pound.

I think everybody has bad experiences in just about any group. The truth is that there are a lot of jerks in the world, my view is that you should not let them bring you down.

...two posers getting their rocks off an no one winning, that's a great way to put it - I wonder how often that happens

Good point about people knowing what they've seen - there's the 'what breed of horse' thread in this section where a dubious character is trying to convince us that the tip of a stallion's penis is rough.

Back in the old days, the self-proclaimed Real World Zoos would piss and moan about posers and "zoophilophiliacs" who were not zoo themselves, but into people who were zoo. *shrug* I'm not so sure there's such a wave of zoo-lovers out there, but it gave the RWZ another label they could slap on people they didn't like.

It's almost impossible to go into the chat room without being inundated with pm's within two minutes. The entire screen fills up with mens pm's asking things like.. "How big are your tits baby".

I've had many men ask me to fly across the country to meet them, or they would do the same.. and that is within minutes of talking with them. I receive many messages in my inbox like this too.

Fortunately, I have met a wonderful man here. He is brilliant and professional, considerate, loving and kind, he's handsome too. This man has all of the wonderful traits and is naughty as well.. excellent combination. So ladies.. there are some keepers out there.

Well We are walking down the wrong side of the tracks and we know it..
The board is open to new members so it takes time to sort them out..

Cops. I have know many who are more unbalanced than we are by far..
Fact is there is a major problem with underage on the web. We need to cleen that out.. The flip side is they are not looking at us here..
If we do not keep our board cleen some body will cleen it for us.

We need to take a hard look at our selves as well as the company we may keep.

I do not chat and can hardly type so I see I have missed nothing.

There is, it seems a need for the people to to love the animals they have as partners..
Respect and kindness should be the norm..

Rus

Yeah, I've had a few really bad experiences.

I got lots of pm's when I had info about what I have in the way of critters in my profile.

So I got rid of that and then I got pm's from teh pictures I posted wanting to visit and play with the critters..

I just wanted to meet folks and chat, like minded folks and all that, I figured the rest would follow, though I never really said that. SO I put "I don't share my critters." so now I don't get *ANY* pm's.. heh.. whatever.

I used to want to share my critters with folks who didn't have access to stallions themselves. I figured no harm could come of it. Sadly, I was wrong. Eventually I started to share again, but with a few different rules. That worked out.. OKAY, but now, I'm married, so I'm less inclined to have folks visit. Plus I've moved to a state where it's not legal.. soooo.. The risk is simply too high, and the returns... zero. I had a lot of folks who visited simply stop chatting with me once they had their "taste".

It's.. difficult.. There aren't any clear answers, and there are no absolutes. Just possibilities. What we make of them, and what we are willing to pay to provide them or pay to have them provided (pay as in emotional expenses, bad experiences etc, not money) is entirely up to the individuals involved.

my.. poorly filtered .02 for the day.

wow, i'm a new member, and i found this thread kind of sad. I had no idea there were so many creeps/stalkers out there. I hope that people can still be a little open to us real zoos out here and not let the creeps take over this board.

This thread is one of the reasons why I'm not a prolific poster in general. I guess I'm paranoid about the creeps mentioned and the possibility that the puritans have infiltrated the board and gathering information on everyone. I don't know how likely that is, but sometimes a little paranoia can be a good thing.

Oh my god these are some serious horror stories! Gaillikesd's story seems like its from a nightmare, not reality! I was already a pretty cautious person in life, but now i'm freaked right the *@!$ out. I feel like saying sorry just for being in the same species as them.....sorry!

I agree with the people who are practically mortified by this thread.
Being new to this forum, and in my case still a virgin to the lifestyle. Even moreso, a single male that to date has only watched the women that love their animals (and enjoyed that very much).
It really makes me sad to see so many stories of grief from these members. Another thing that disturbs me is the association that zoos receive with child pornography.

I for one was thinking long and hard about checking out the chat room. Even looking for ladies from this forum that were likeminded and maybe even willing to share a relationship with myself and our animal friends. But I think for now I will just take it easy and make a few acquaintances instead. Then friends. And much further down the line when people become more familiar with me, possibly look in the direction of seeking partners.

I would also like to apologize to anyone who has had to endure this, from anybody who could be so... wrong.
