In my opinion, it's safer than sex with a lot of humans.

Provided you give said animal the care it deserves (affection, healthy diet and exercise, shots/vaccinations up to date), I believe it is very healthy.

Fun and Games (meaning)= Can't date your animal, Can't marry your animal, Can't produce offspring with your animal...

that is the only reason I call it fun and games...

can be also called (for me that is) an out-of-the-ordinary fling.

Well said.

It is fun and games. I mean c'mon if you can't have fun and play games with a lover, who can ya do it with? :P And different people pursue the lifestyle to different levels, some more (romantically) serious than others.

You made an excellent point too, with the risk factor; the laws of human society dictate that we must keep this aspect of our lives hidden. Thus, what is normal to us becomes out-of-the-ordinary to others.

That and my mate has a problem with part of what i posted....saying i put a time frame on which/when activities with the animal can be done...

referring to the once a month or so when kids are involved. really yes you can do it whenever you want but it wont be right to just send your kids off to sleepovers all the time when you want to do what you want and how you want to do it.

You need to be careful to keep things hidden while in the mean time try not to give off the impression of selfishness or putting animals before your kids.

I am not trying to argue against love with an animal but it is more difficult to manage (i think...) once children are involved.

but...again those are just my thoughts.

I heard a while back that some felines (housecats, in particular) carry a form of aids that can be transferred to humans through any sexual contact or bite/scratch. It was said to be far less serious than 'human' aids though. Of course, I dont know if the source was reliable or not...

As long as you don't do what is refered to as "Hot Swapping" then you should be perfectly safe. In fact it has been purported, though by unverified sources, that, at least between women and dogs, animal sex can be beneficial. It has been asserted that it can help prevent and treat female urinary incontinence. Not my assertions mind you. But has been said by other sites.

If it is true, then the fact that dog sex cures human ailments means that dog sex indeed IS healthy.

I have read those C1L is referring to and wondered if anyone was going to refer to these when I first opened this thread. Glad to see there are ohters who care. There is too much misinformation out there, one should be judicious and make wise decisions. Although I enjoy writing about and reading about promiscuous sex, in reality it is a very dangerous thing - the statistics are alarming when one considers that 20% or more of American teenagers 14 and over have been exposed to STD's. (That was on the national news recently) - We need nore parents who are informed and have the guts and love to inform their kids.

sorry, I couldn't help myself :whistling:

There are some bacteria that can be transmitted from animal to human (and, I presume, back). So, cleanliness should always be a priority.

STD's, not so much. I suppose that if two humans shared an animal, they could transmit an STD to each other through bodily fluids on the animal's body. But this is no different than sharing sex toys (not that animals are sex toys, just pointing out that you can transmit some STD's on sex toys, too).

Realistically, health-wise, it's one of the safer forms of sex (unless you count going to jail as a safety concern).
