Dog hair - the all purpose condiment!
Goes with any food or beverage (whether requested or not <_< ) Adds fibre to the diet ;) Saves on dental floss :D |

You guys have got to to a FURminator. It's the best brush you'll ever use. It works better than any shedding blade, zoom groom, etc. They strip out the undercoat like nothing else.
They're spendy, but you can get a large sized on ebay for $30. At PetSmart they're $60. |

How much hair do I have around my house? I have two Great Pyrenees, who are both blowing their winter coats at the same time. Now just HOW much hair do I have around my house?
Hair is everywhere. I vacuum daily, only to find more the moment I shut it off. I touch the dogs, and *I* turn white. Hair is a food group around here at current. Yeah, I have just a tiny little hair problem right now. |

Mine's a black Lab mix and, geez, what's up with all the shedding? I could make another dog...
Anyway, I gather it all up and empty out the vacuum cleaner bag too, and add it into my compost pile. Compost often suffers from too much cellulose and not enough other nutrients, so the dog hair contributes protein to the mix. |

I have to say, those high powered vacuum cleaners with the dog fur attachments work wonders. Otherwise I'd have real issues.

I'll have to check out one of those FURminators...could've used one years ago when I had more canines...but I'm sure it'll help now. |

Too much, Barnye my springer sheds like mad you only have to stroke him and 100's of hairs fall off I get sick of cleaning it up. One time I didn't clean up for a week, my god I could have made a mountin of dog hair
