I came here just like the rest of you - with dick in hand - and like most of you that will take the time to read this message - I found a whole lot more than I could have ever imagined - and the key to this entire message is you recoginizing that - I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT THIS PLACE - IT OWNS SPACE IN MY HEART - that is the central message here - I need you to recoginize that this place means as much to me as it does to you - that I am indeed no different than you... I am a mod - but it doesn't make me anymore important than you - it is ONLY the way that I contribute to the forum... BF OWNS A PART OF MY SOUL - I know you can relate - and I ask that your recoginize this and keep it in mind as you read on... Bf is the only of it's kind - once upon a time this was all new - and it didn't come with a road map - and just as the concept was new - so was the staff mods and admin - there was no previous histories - everything was by proxy of trial and error - and we all know how quick many were to point out error - a lot of tuff talk... all the other mods of the forum have been here since the inception - "old school" - they have served us well - and continue to do so - it is THEY for whom have paid the dues and bare the scars -and continue to keep the reckless like myself inline - they are our mentors and forefathers - HATS OFF! and although I have been here for quite some time now - I am alone the "new guard" - I know there was resentment by some that I climbed the ladder - and I imagine someone somewhere was probably more entitled to my position - maybe even more qualified - but I was choosen for a reason - and the reason is passion - and that passion has always come with a hefty price tag - the price tag of stepping on toes on both sides of the fence - folks it's not a glamourous place to be :mellow: ==> rock - southy - hard place <== :mellow: everyone has a position and a motive here - the admin - the mods and staff - the membership - and then theres ole southy - the fence sitter - lets face it folks - wether you like me personally or not I have stepped up to the plate as the new guard - I have willingly relinquished a comfortable place in the community to bridge those gaps for a long time now... there has been many outcrys on all sides of the proverbial fence - and if you honestly look you will see that I have answered those calls - at the risk of my own home here - I have repeatedly stepped on admins toes - I have stepped on my colleauges toes repeatedly - and yes I have even stomped on valued friends toes -and I ask you to recoginize that - not for valour - but for trust and understanding - I have been here for all of you at a terrible personal cost - I have stood up and been the unpopular voice of compromise - if you look deep inside you know it's the truth - you KNOW that things have changed - I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR YOU - and in return I ask for your trust - I ask that you set aside your preconcieved and predetermined notions... can you PLEASE give me that much in return - can you give me the benefit of an open mind - please - thanXies :) it's back - the tuff talk that is - and this time YOUR WRONG - and this time I am going to step on YOUR toes - and this time I am going to challenge the members - not the admin - and not my colleauges... you can visit SOME of the tuff talkers on THIER sites - not all of them - because they come and they go - just like thier sites come and go - and even the few that still do exist are all but abandoned - a site - but not a dedicated community -there is a reason - and wether you like it or not - the reason of EVERYTHING is money - dedication and community are lovely - but they don't exist with FINANCING... just ask them! this IS the real world - and NOTHING is free... not even BF - yes it's a SHARE site - but pics of lovely donkey dick don't pay the rent - they don't pay for bandwidth - they don't pay for all the things required - like an admin who knows how to protect a community - all the tech and equipment required to host a premiere site of this caliber - and the MANY MANY MANY unspokens - come on folks your adults - you know how life works - you can't walk out of Office Depot with some staples and tape for less than $100 :rolleyes: and just go to the other thousands and thousands of adult sites - they require a paid membership - the admin has done thier best to balance between business and community - and you all know that - and this is bigger than any of you can imagine - you don't go to the local corner store to do your grocery shopping - you head for Walmart - where the shelves are full of options at a cheaper rate - and thats the way the world works - yes your local corner store is charming - but it leaves a lot to be desired - and again that is the way of the world... so with that said - I think we can all appreciate the need - the proof is in the pudding folks - there is a reason through all the skeptism that BF remains the Walmart - it remains the primary destination of most... so it's business - there - I said it - the unspeakable has been spoken - and it's HUGE :o :lol: :D MEGA! :beer: and I have no idea why your in denial :huh: you have know it all along that we are charging for elite memberships - and people - members - YES EVEN YOUR FRIENDS ARE PAYING TO SEE YOUR MATERIAL - folks it's never been a secret - you have known it all along - and the tuff talk has been around forever - yes - BF is just the tip of the iceberg - you knew that too - you know that we have sister sites - cal-nv - zoodvd - shawnies - fistforum - the list goes on and on - and there are many new ones on the way :rock: and the business charges for material that they OWN and that they have PAID for - but the business has NEVER charged for your material that you have contributed - YES - some select material does appear on other sites - be flattered if yours is chosen ;) and yes there is options to chose a paying membership - it's the SAME as an elite/veiwing membership here - it is NEVER flat out sold - you have never had a problem with elite memberships here - there is no difference - it's all going into the same pot to make all of this possible - and ALL of this - the porn - the community - ALL of it is IMPOSSIBLE without business - it's nothing new - it has never been a secret - it's the way of the world - so why - why the hell all of the tuff talk? :unsure: we all have our values and we all have perspectives - here is a glimpse of reality - maybe an overdue glimpse - but I am in hopes that I have been able to help you view the bigger picture - I know there will still be a few who won't reason - it's a tuff choice to pick between hard instilled prespectives - values -and friends - we honestly understand thier delima -respect thier choice - and wish them the very best :friends: if you need me I'll be over there on the fence :mellow: which I think admin just replaced with pickets :blink: :pinch: :crying: :lol: |
