On a certain site, there's an option to turn that on and it'll be underneath your avatar.

There's also an option of whether or not you want to display that or not.

Either way, it's just a teeny tiny icon that shows your gender should you choose to show it. Not all will do it that way.

I think that it would be cool to have the option anyway of Identifying one's self under their avatar. It would be cool to see some info at a glance to know if the poster has some things in common with you or not or to see what sort of person the post is coming from. It would be optional of course. You could list your age,sex,sexual allignment, favorite breed maybe the number of years that you've been a beasty. Of course one couldn't count on this info being totally accurate but it would lend some sort of identity to the poster for others to view if they wish.

i really think it's up to the poster to disclose whether they are male or female. if you like their advice, take it. if not, don't.

on the other hand, it could be useful. judging from their sex, you may be able to tell if they would be able to answer questions that you may have.

Is it just me, or is it only men who think they need to know the sex of the person posting? ;)

I could care less, if I read enough of a person's posts, I will know, but....if it bothers you, just put it in your signature

A ton of people who do have their gender listed are lieing anyway so what does having it listed help..

I deliberatley try to make it ambiguous as to whether or not I am a male or female (although i did correctly list myself as female) I don't think plastering shots of my boobs on my avatar or having a name like SluttyDogF**ker is going to help my situation any, plus it attracts the wrong sorts of attention and people. My inbox is basically empty until I make a post leading on about myself and my BOYFRIEND, at which time i get "OMG BABY HAI 2 U!" and "hey cutie wanna chat?". Im all set thanks, i'd rather just keep that something they have to go looking for.

Try going on some other site and list yourself as female...I think you'd be changing your tune pretty quick. There are so many testosterone laden dimwits who pretty much prey on women, especially in zoo sites.

YES YES AND YES, i would love this feature, especiallly for the stories, so i can see before hand if its written by a girl or not, sorry guys but girls write stories better.

and so i dont make the mistake of f animal m human, or m animal male human stories.

I'm hetero, and male. I'm attracted to the female of the species, not the male (unless it's a wolf, dog, or horse). I have no interest in homosexuality or lesbianism, simply because it's my preference not to get involved in those lifestyles. I would much rather know if I were getting advice from a male or female, so I'd know the perspective it's coming from.

As in all things online..people lie. I've learned this lesson the hard way, and don't care to go into what happend, as it was extremely offensive to me when I found out. In those cases, I didn't cuss them out or put a guilt trip on them, I just used the "block and ignore" feature.

Same thing here. I stay FAR, far away from any videos that feature human males in them, because I'm not gay. I won't state my exact feelings on this, since this isn't a topic post for moral views. Ijust excercise what's known as "If you don't like it, then don't watch it." As far as stories go, yes, I'm only interested in reading the experiences or fantasies women have ALONE with thier dogs or horses (or wolves & Unicorns and the like). If it's a story that features a human male, i stop reading it, and move to the next one. That's the best way to go about it: If you don't like it, there are other things out there you may like.
