Sex with your dog is fine right though pregnancy, I did it right up to the 8 months with my dog and husband, I stopped with the dog 4 week before the baby was due incase i still had doggies semen inside me and they did any type of tests.

When I got pregnant, up until my first scan I thought I may be having puppy's as I was have sex for month and did not get pregnant, right after starting having k9sex, I did and this gave me nightmares till my first scan.

I agree. I'm in my 33rd week right now and became obsessed early on about the safety of my baby. I did all kinds of research and feel very secure in saying- Your dog is fine. Matter of fact a dog is much safer than any sort of toy or object you would place inside yourself because they are naturally very clean. As Colella said, make sure to avoid Anal-Vaginal cross contamination of any sort. That could cause some serious harm to you and/or the baby. If your dog is -very- vigorous, have someone assist you so he cannot repeatedly hit your cervix. That is the "bath plug" of sorts and if that gets damaged, you may go into labor ahead of schedule.

Be aware that in your final month or so, sperm of any sort will make your cervix "soften". This may also cause you to go into labor prematurely. (Happened with my second son, he was 3 weeks early and my cervix dropped it's plug after my husband and I had some gentle loving. A few hours later my water broke!)
