A few come to mind that I read in the distant past, but I don't remember the authors.
"The Bear": only thing I remember is that the author was, I think, Canadian. Has a nice scene where a woman makes love with a male bear. "Blood Snow"? Some cheesy paperback "beach reading" from back in the 70's, I think. Just has a brief reference to one of the less than pleasant characters having had sex, when he was a teenager growing up on the farm, wiith sheep, a cow, and a water spaniel bitch. Only time I've ever seen a reference to sex with a water spaniel, anywhere. Anyone ever actually had sex with one? Back on topic... "Daisy": some scenes of a young man having sex with a female cow. One of, I think, the Judith Krantz novels, heck if I know which one, has a scene with one of the teenage female characters receiving oral sex from a dog. If I'm wrong about the author, hey, sorry Judy! "Easy Travel to Other Planets": woman has sex with a male dolphin. "Galapagos" Kurt Vonnegut(?): reference to young male human (or almost) character having sex with female seals. That's all I can think of at the moment. More later if I remember them. |

I found one recently, I was reading "The Final Confession of Mabel Stark". It is a semi-fictional biography about a genuine heroine. She was a circus big cat trainer whose career stretched from the roaring 20s to the 60s.
It has several vague beasty references in it with a few additional ones being a bit more detailed. One of my favorites was when one of her husbands (she had several, they couldn't deal with her attachment to tigers) was penetrating her from behind. "Meanwhile all of Louis' plunging pushed me forward, so the front of me started rubbing up against Rajah (her tiger cub), and when I say "front" of me understand it was the front of me that COUNTS. The sensation made all the more notable by the fact a tiger's coat is covered in oil, and that oil was rubbing off and turning me slick and warm as an oyster fried in butter." It goes on and uses some pretty florid language to describe her first tiger induced orgasm. Another of my favorite parts is when Rajah is old enough to be trained and she turns him into the first trained "wrass'ln tiger" in the country. During her performance she would turn her back to him (something a trainer NEVER does to big cats) and then used subtle hand signals to get him to pounce on her and she would go limp so that the crowd would assume he was killing her. In reality Rajah was keeping her pinned down for a few minutes and using her back for a "scratching post". She started using a white leather outfit to make the "residue" hard to spot. This part of the story is evidently 100% historical fact since there were letters written by the real Mabel Stark authenticating that before she died in the 60's. Apparently this stunt was what put her on the map and got her into the Ringling Bros/Barnum & Bailey Circus. All in all, it's a good read even if you aren't into the whole zoo scene. the only thing i've read that had any sort of relation to beast was sword of truth...
in one of the books, there's a cult of female magic users who worship the god of the underworld, and 'new recruits' to the cult have to have sex with a demon-ish thing they summon... it was described in some pretty gruesome detail, the beast had a massively spiked cock that caused a lot of pain from what i could tell. |

Piers Anthony has loads of zoosexual themes in pretty much all of his novels. In the Phaze/Proton series the protagonist had sex with a unicorn mare. In his Xanth series 'Night Mare' the villain was the shapeshifting offspring of a man & mare.
In his author's notes he talks about his early years as a writer where he did much of his writing in the barn, with a black mare (name I forget) that was the model for both the aformentioned unicorn and the nightmare in the Xanth novel. As for outright human/animal sex there is relatively little, but a lot of it is implied. |

Nancy Friday did at least three books about sexual fantasies, and the references to beast seem to increase from one book to the next. They are quite explicit fantasies :) or in some cases true stories from the women who contribute. Apart from My Secret Garden there is Women and Top and one called Forbidden Pleasures or similar.
Try also Angela Carter for less more subtle but very central references to bestiality including one where a woman has sex with a jaguar or leopard or something (I remember her being interviewed on BBC radio 4 about that story by a woman presenter who thought it was hot and said so :D) and there is also her version of Beauty and The Beast - i think both stories are in The Bloody Chamber, her collected short stories. John Irving makes various passing references to bestiality including I think, Hotel New Hampshire in which there is a lesbian scene with one of the women in a bear fursuit, and there is another story of his where his character speculates that a woman is having sex with her black lab. Black Dogs, by Ian McEwan makes some passing reference to the unfortunate habit the Nazis had of subjecting their victims to rape by dogs. Being as they were Nazis I dont suppose they exactly made i a nice experience for people. There is a book about about a girl who turns into a dog and has some fun sexual adventures while in that form, I havent read it: LADY: My Life as a Bitch by Melvin Burgess. There are loads more I am sure I will think of them in time and add them when I get round to it. |
