The chihuahua melts with a neck scritch, but I think I've noticed something and I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed something like this.

The dog's coat goes in several directions around the neck and shoulders, and there are a few razorbacks where the hairs going in different directions mesh with each other. I think these exact spots are where the animal most loves to be scritched - has anyone else noticed something like this?
