as many of you know i race ,driving from race to race in my tractor trailer .i stopped in the middle of the night at a rest area .as i walked back to my truck i noticed a guy looking at my trailer witch is not uncomen .alot of people come up and ask questions about the car .but this guy was strange .i also noticed him looking past me i turned to see another guy heading tward me from behinde i called my girls and three german shepherds jumped out of the trailer the one guy yelled he has dogs and both ran off i walked to the end of the truck to notice a third guy and a pick up speeding away .my girls just saved my butt .whats funny is they dont bite well my youngest g/s girl is protective of me but for the most part they are sweet .i gave my self heck for putting them in danger but i didnt know what else to do .have any of you ever had your mate save your butt .

Oh, man! Thank God for dogs. Something similar happened to me once involving a lot lizard. My dog scared her off too. I can sympathize. Be safe driver.

Nope has never happened to me. But then again, its been said I can be a rather scary, intimidating individual in my own right. So that's helped I suppose.

It wasn't my mate. But when I was very young I had a Golden Retriever and would walk him. One day this creepy guy came up to me on a bike (I was laying in the grass and my dog was laying beside me) and my dog raised up and started growling, and the guy rode off.

The same dog scared off a predator that tried to break into the house when I was home alone (I was around 12)

My Golden Retriever's name was Buddy :) And while we only had a platonic relationship he was a very very good dog. Lived a long life. May he RIP...
