I was thinking after reading and seeing the works here on BF that there are alot of experienced, talented people here in the lifestyle. Have some of you with the know how ever thought about writing a book on the lifestyle? I am sure that if written in
a suitable manner that it could sell even in mainstream literature.

What considerations would be taken onto account for such a venture?

Sounds interesting, but my first thought would be finding a publisher willing to print such a book. However, I have heard of certain authors using their own monies to get a book of theirs printed. Come to think of it, I do recall certain books touching on the subject but none that have dedicated the entire book on the matter. It would definitely be an interesting read if such a book dedicated to this lifestyle were ever to be written/published. Maybe such a book already exists?

There is no shortage of publishers willing to print racey writes, although finding and getting them to buy such a book might be difficult. Perhaps the biggest issue is that as soon as most people hear the word zoophilia they go into hate mode and will just start bitching without even reading it. It's almost impossible to get a fair opinion on this matter, as probably 99% of people are biased in one way or another about it. Even if every book critic in the world advertised such as the best thing ever to read, few would get over their ill-informed prejudices and open themselves to education. Not to say it wouldn't change some minds, at least it might be a step in the right direction. But as history shows, change in any society is often unwelcome.

Such is my opinion, nothing more.

This does seem like an idea whose time has come, but it could as easily backfire in one's face. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other........

Writing such a book could be interesting.

But who do you want to read it?
Mr&Mrs Justnormalfolks do not care about the subject at all, and do not use time or money for such a book.
Those who are against us do not need a book, because they already know all there is to know, seen from their point of view.
We, who are in it ourselves, we know, but do we need a book to tell us who we are?

Yes, there are publishers where you get books printed at you own financial risk, these publsihers are also used by authors who want to maintain control the use of their rights.

Good question! Then while scrolling down the front page of BF I noticed there are over 300,000 registered members here. Imagine selling 300,000 books to start your career off with. :w00t:

Common you wannabe writer's. Glory awaits you!

I can see it now! A 500 page tome covering ten different acts of sexual debauchery. Paragraphs one through nine on page one devoted to non zoo/beastie sex. Then page two through five hundred devoted to animal loving! No way, anybody is going to realize that THAT would be a pro beastie book in disguise! :P :P
