Very good to hear from Jim too. I have long been a big fan of Alice's stories. Her writing is alway stimulating. It seems that it runs in the family. Probably due to a suitable education. Jims accounting brought back memories of many weekend visits to TJ. I was stationed in San Diego while in the Navy. I was never fortunate enough to encounter a dog show as Jim did, but I have to say that I wasnt really looking for one at the time. My trips were usually with some of my buddies from the base, and the trips were for the purpose of getting drunk off our asses, since most of us were under age for the US side of things. In TJ, as long as you had money to spend they didnt seem to care how old you were. My interests in the matter came much later, after my enlistment was over. For me, the introduction came from a girl friend. She had been experienced with dogs but didnt have one at the time, and I had a male dog, but had never considered a sexual relationship with him. That is a story all its own though.

I just wanted to add this to all the other fine reply's, to let you know that Jims stories are as enjoyable to read as well.
