Here's another horse story for your reading pleasure. :D



Untamed Passion


I had been walking for hours, the hot summer sun pounding me with its rays.

"Of all the places to break down," I muttered to myself, "I just had to break down in the middle of freakin' nowhere."

I must have walked at least ten miles when I finally had to stop and rest.

"What was I thinking? I should have stayed with the car. At least the air conditioner was still working." I gasped.

I spotted a small formation of large rocks about 25 yards off the road. I walked over to them and sat down, pondering my situation.

"The nearest populated area is at least another 45 miles in the direction I'm heading. I can either keep going or turn around." I said to myself, beads of sweat rolling down my forehead. The dryness of my throat felt as if it were choking me.

"I've got to find water if I'm going to make it any further." I said to myself.

Once I caught my breath and rested for a few minutes, I started off across the rolling hills in search of water, having no idea where I was going. I walked for another hour or so, and finally collapsed. I was completely lost. There were no signs of civilization anywhere. I had lost sight of the road long ago, and had not managed to find any water. I raised my head one last time and looked around, to make absolutely sure I hadn't overlooked even the smallest source of water. Seeing nothing, I fell back to the ground unconscious.

When I awoke, I was delerious. I could sense something standing over me, but couldn't make out what it was right away. Part of the large form, what looked like a head and neck, moved down closer to my face. I heard a snort and felt a soft nudge on my cheek. I finally realized that this was a horse standing over me.

At first I thought someone happened to be riding by and found me. I sat up as best as I could, but when I did the horse whinnied and ran off. I looked in the direction that the horse ran, and saw several more horses grazing in the distance.

"A wild mustang herd." I said to myself.

The spotted, appaloosa-looking horse that had nudged my face stopped about half way between me and the rest of the herd and looked back at me, ears twitching, eyes fixated on me, as though trying to figure out what to make of me. Even at this distance I could plainly see that this was a stallion, and quite a stallion he was. I found myself transfixed at the sight of this virile animal.

I grabbed a handfull of the knee-high grass that surrounded me and tried to stand up. I was immediately overcome with dizziness and fell backwards a few feet, the effects of dehydration making themselves felt. The horse danced around a few steps, looked at me and whinnied. Apparently I was a very strange sight to him, and he didn't know whether to run away or come back to me and investigate more.

I sat back up, trying to shake off the weakness and dizziness. I held out my hand to the mustang, trying to coax him back to me.

"Come here, buddy." I whispered, hoping he would come back to me.

He cautiously approached me, stopping every few steps. When he was finally within a few feet of me, he stretched his neck and head forward and sniffed the air. I was just out of range of touching him, but I continued to hold my hand out to him, palm upturned. He snorted and took a few more steps toward me, placing his muzzle in the palm of my hand, inhaling deeply and snorting.

"Good boy." I whispered to the beautiful mustang as I slowly moved my other hand toward his face and began softly stroking his nose. He nickered, and strongly nudged my hand, taking another step forward. I summoned every ounce of strength I had and stood up. I felt myself begin to fall, but put an arm around this wonderful creature's neck and caught myself. He stood there as I stroked and patted his neck.

"You know where I can find some water, boy?" I whispered to him. He turned and nudged my back. "Hah, you probably have no idea what I'm saying, do you?" I said, patting him on the shoulder and laughing to myself.

My whole body was trembling with weakness by now, and I could barely stay standing. I felt unconsciousness trying to take over my body again, but I fought it.

"Man, I really need something to drink, anything at all." I whimpered, trying not to fall down.

After a few more minutes I could not fight it anymore, and collapsed to the ground once again. I lay there in a state of semi-consciousness, having no idea how much time was passing, numb to the world around me.

I was about to slip into total darkness when I felt a warm liquid splashing on my face. Out of survival instinct I opened my mouth and began drinking. The liquid had a pleasant musky taste and I continued to drink every drop of it, my body desperate for liquid sustenance. I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was the stallion's massive member hanging only a couple feet away from my face, a few drops of urine still trickling from the end.

I felt better almost instantly. It didn't even bother me that I had just drank a large amount of stallion piss. I was still a little dizzy, but was able to stand up. My shirt was covered in stallion piss, so I took it off. The stallion turned to me and started to sniff my face and chest. He snorted and nickered at me. I pulled off my pants and stood next to the stallion completely naked. Well, this is a work of fiction, I never inferred that every last detail was within the realm of possibility. That's the great thing about writing fiction - you're not bound by the limitations of reality.

That being said, if you didn't like it, I'd appreciate it if you'd give reasons for why instead of just making a generalized negative statement. <_<

Wow, what an amazing story :) .

Contrary to the statement made by zoosexual, this story is a worthy read.
There are many real instances where a human life has been saved by an animal. I owe my life to a little white Shetland Mare. She saved me from being crushed to death in a Horse fight, by risking her life to rescue me from certain death.

If she'd not done that, then I do believe I would have a really hard time typing this reply ;) .


Many fine stories exist here, and I just wish I had the literary skills to create something even half as good as I am seeing here on the forum.
