I am not sure -but PLEASE be more careful and thoughtful about where you leave them -this could cause injury to your pet/lovers internal organs.

I am no authority on other animals, nor am I about dogs, but dogs are notorious for munching on peculiar things ie: case in point -I am a huge forensic fan -there was a case a few yeras back where a murderer was caught because he left behind hairs from his dog -ordinarily they can only say that animals hairs are "microscopically similiar" to the suspect animal in question -however it seems as though this pooch had an addiction to nicotine -as he regularly ate the cigarette butts of his owners -and they were able to prove by forensics that the hairs left behind were high in nicotine count -thus tying it to the suspect dog -thus convicting the man...

Well, i am a professional, and dogs eat nailclippings and hooves for mineral content and they are just plain taisty for them. human nails are not good for them because of size, but as long as your canine chews hooves and not just breaks them up and swallows them it should be fine.

I suggest being careful of your clippings. watch your dogs' diet more as well.
